A surprisingly good place if you want to stay for free and experience some local culture. We arrived on Saturday evening and could barely squeeze through the narrow road. But the locals were very helpful and guided us. There were lots of barbecues underway, and the little grill/bar next door created a good atmosphere. We ended up staying until Monday morning. There is good drinking water and we used the toilet.Translating
Very busy; we drove through on Saturday night into Sunday in July.Translating
Nice place near the city. We had a quiet night there, there were toilets and nice picnic area. The pub was closed (week day evening).
Beautiful place, no disturbance. Early in the morning, locals arrive to cook their vegetables over wood; they were very kind and gave us some to taste. There is a water fountain 20 meters from the end of the road; locals come to collect water for their homes.Translating
Even in the weekdays is busy. A lot of locals come to enjoy the nature. But anyway it's great spot considering hiking trails that you pick just behind parking
We stayed here overnight without any problems; we were the only ones and it was peaceful. It is certainly busier in summer. The proximity to Brasov is tempting.Translating
Not a pretty spot, but good for one night close to Braşov. Easy access. Nice spot for a walk or picnic. A bit too busy for us to stay longer, a lot of people come and go for the springs even late in evening or early morning. There were dogs around the building and they barked 2 times in the night, maybe because of a bear? Didn’t bother us and they didn’t bark at our own dog.
A great spot. Easy access, clean. Extremely busy at weekends (almost impossible to find a parking space during the day, and many cars arrive very early in the morning), but that is understandable—it is a place for climbing, mountain biking, picnicking (tables and grills available), and hiking. Two portable toilets and beautiful hiking trails. Bus 50 gets you to the city quickly.Translating
Not the prettiest place, but worked fine for a night. Water is next to the hut, maybe 100m from the parking lot. No access to the water source by car, so you have to carry a little bit
Pleasant spot near the city by the stream. Cool at night. The sun does not reach the spot until 10 a.m. and leaves again at 4 p.m. A bear visit at night is guaranteed (rubbish bins). Many locals come here to barbecue or run/hike; it is a good starting point.Translating
Drinking water is not in the restaurant but outside, up in front of the hut. Good flow.Translating
I think the trees have been pruned. No low-hanging branches. The place is next to a building, but nothing interesting happens there.Translating
