Daytime sea parking, no overnight

Relying on the previous review and thinking that, out of season, we were not taking much of a risk, we went to have dinner at Restaurant Martina. When we came out of our motorhome, there was a police van parked in the shade. The restaurant owner told us it was risky to stay there overnight, so we ate there anyway and then moved on.✦Translating

We noticed it by chance because there were so many campers there. We arrived at 9 p.m., asked at the restaurant, and were allowed to stay. The police were there but were only conducting a roadside check, nothing more. It was also the off-season. The next day we had a leisurely coffee at the restaurant and were also allowed to use the toilets. Otherwise, use costs €1.✦Translating

To anyone planning to spend the night in the parking lot: it's illegal to sleep in your campervan in Croatia. Even the restaurant owner's permission won't help! Fines of between €130 and €1,000 are possible! We unfortunately learned this the hard way.

Beware, parking for campervans is prohibited at night. Even if you eat at the restaurant, the staff say there is no problem, but at 7 this morning the police arrived. So, as the description says, this is daytime parking, normally reserved for the restaurant, with marked spaces.✦Translating

We stayed the night here after speaking to the hotel staff who said if we ate at the restaurant we could stay the night. Really friendly staff and an uninterrupted night of sleep :)

A large parking lot. We asked the owner and they told us it is no problem to stay over night on their property if we take a meal at the restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious fish plate. The police popped up and went away with no activity. We were 5 Mobile Homes and a Van on site over night. Quite noisy due to traffic. Great view. Excellent phone reception

We asked in the restaurant if we can park the van till next morning and they told us that the police is checking sometimes very early in the morning and that the fine is 130 EUR. The parking is only allowed and free during the day if you have food at the restaurant. Otherwise you have to park next door and pay.

Be warned: we received a 130-euro fine. Overnight stays are not allowed here, even on private property and with the owner's permission. According to the police, overnighting is permitted only at campsites, and officers said they would return every night.

Large free parking lot belonging to the restaurant. You just need to eat there; the staff are very friendly. It overlooks a cove for a quick swim. The only drawback is some traffic.✦Translating

Pleasant spot with access to the sea. There is also a supermarket not far away. We should be grateful that the restaurant makes this place available to campers, so you should leave your spot cleaner than you found it. When we arrived, four campers had positioned themselves so that they occupied the entire area, so please leave room for those who arrive in the evening too. Thank you.✦Translating

Yes very close to busy and at times noisy road. Including us 13 MoHo/campers. We did the moral thing and went for a meal; strongly suspect majority didn’t! It may have been just the night we stayed but meal was not worth it @ 50€. We did say we were parked up but waitress didn’t appear to be too bothered. On a positive note view stunning we went down the steps and sat to watch incredible sunset.

What a fantastic stop with amazing views. The restaurant are staff so welcoming. We had a light evening meal and the breakfast - great value and fantastic find. It is next to the main road so be mindful of the location with regards to potential traffic noise . We would highly recommend. Thank you restaurant Martina

Thanks to the restaurant for making its large, free parking area overlooking the sea available to motorhome travelers! Of course, we had dinner there. It was very good, reasonably priced, and there was something for every taste! Despite being busy, the waiter remained very friendly and competent! Given the price of campsites in Croatia, we highly recommend it! For almost the same price, you can have a meal!✦Translating

Beautiful view, right by the sea. You can reach the beach via a staircase. However, the restaurant itself had little available from its menu, and there was sand (!) in my pasta. Friendly staff and our food arrived within ten minutes! The sunset from the restaurant terrace is breathtakingly beautiful.✦Translating

Nice place to stay for one night. The parking lot is next to a road, but there is not too much traffic at night—you can even hear the sea! Since it is the parking lot of the restaurant next door, Martina, you should at least have a coffee there.✦Translating

You can stay overnight in your camper without paying, but it is only parking, with no services; after all, it is just the restaurant's parking lot. To stay overnight, you have to eat at the restaurant. The view is wonderful, and it is a good place to eat, but not exactly cheap, especially if you eat fish. Wonderful place with a sea view. Many thanks to the operators of Restaurant Marina, such nice people. The restaurant prices are truly reasonable, and the food was delicious. We ate fresh grilled calamari, a huge portion. We will certainly stop here again.✦Translating

A large parking lot with a superb view. The drawback is that it is beside the road, so it is noisy. Visit the restaurant for a coffee, a drink, or a meal, and they let you sleep for free.✦Translating

A spacious area where you are sure to find other motorhomes parked. Two campervans and two motorhomes stayed overnight. The sea is just a few meters away, and the restaurant also serves breakfast. Although it does not seem as though they check who has eaten and who has not.✦Translating
