37 Rue du Château, 29600, Morlaix
Been here?
A free, quiet parking area high above Morlaix, with attractive views of the town and viaduct, close to the centre and shops. The centre is reached in about 5 minutes by a steep staircase, but returning requires climbing the slope. Access uses narrow streets and is difficult for vehicles above 6.5 metres. A nearby school brings activity, especially during school periods and on Saturday mornings because of the market.

Pretty view of the town and the bridge. Parking close to the town center. Next to a school, with everything that entails.
At first we were unsure whether we wanted to stay here, but then we slept peacefully. The market is reached by taking a few steps down into the center. The approach was really difficult, though, as the navigation system wanted to take us through roads restricted to vehicles under 2.8 tonnes. It was somewhat complicated. Not recommended for large vehicles, more suitable for vehicles up to 6 m. But a great view over the town.
Good parking for visiting the city and possibly spending the night, about 300 m from the center. I do not recommend it for vehicles over 6.5 m because the streets are very narrow.
Very quiet with a beautiful view. Ideal for spending one night and visiting Morlaix.
Free parking above Morlaix. Besides the beautiful view of the town, it takes us five minutes to descend via a large staircase. Remember that you have to climb the steep slope to return to the parking area. Many vehicles on Saturday morning because there is a market in town.
Easy to park. Convenient for visiting Morlaix city center, five minutes on foot via a staircase; the parking area is elevated.
two parking areals (see photo). the higher one is bigger, even more quiet, larger vehicles fit well. the lower one has a view of the city and is directly next to the little park/garden. beautiful view, very quiet, 5 minutes walking to get to the city center. tip: walk down to Place Allende. there are historic buildings, the oldest pub in the city, crêperies and a nice second hand clothes store
Adventurous approach, with an 11% incline and decline and tight bends. It could be difficult with vehicles over 7 m. Otherwise, a good parking area for walking into town. Lots of stairs in the town.
We stayed in the smaller parking area below and had a shady spot and a fantastic view of the city. The town is reachable in five minutes via stairs. We spent a quiet night. Simply great!
