A flat, very quiet parking area beside vineyards, dry hills and a small stream in an Alsatian village. Several hiking trails begin nearby, including one to a chapel with superb views. Farm machinery may operate during the day, while nights are peaceful. A bakery is in the village, and drinking-water fountains are available in Bergholtz-Zell.
