A small gravel parking area convenient for visiting Laveno-Mombello, the lakeside and the ferry, with the town and embarkation point about 10 minutes away on foot. It has no facilities, no shade and no bin, and is next to a very busy road and an active building site. The surface is slightly sloping or uneven, and recent reports recommend it for daytime use rather than overnight stays. Bicycle thefts have also been reported in the area.

Located next to a very busy road. Even worse, there is an active construction site just behind the parking lot. No shade and no bin. We stayed during the day and moved on.
We stopped here and spent the night. Several vans and motorhomes were there too. Convenient for reaching the town and ferry terminal, a 10-minute walk away. Bins are in the parking lot. There is a water tap on the quays, reached by stairs. The parking lot is fairly quiet at night, but because it is close to the road and roundabout, traffic noise starts early.

A 5–10 minute walk to the cable car. The parking lot is somewhat uneven. Direct view of the cable car. Quite crowded in the afternoon on Easter Sunday.
Great place for a short stay by the lake. We stayed one night. No sanitary facilities, but you do not need them for one night. Traffic noise is audible but tolerable. We took the nearby cable car to enjoy the view over the lake. Nice restaurants in the town.
Very convenient spot for spending one night, fairly level. Somewhat noisy because of the nearby road and town center, a five-minute walk away. There were about six motorhomes and vans. No restrictions. Very useful, as there are few alternatives in the area.
Convenient area for access to the cable car, but beware if you have valuables. Two bicycles were stolen from us even though they were well secured. When we filed a report, the police officer said it was the third theft that afternoon. It is a shame that you cannot park safely right in the middle of town!
Quiet village parking lot. Some traffic in the morning, but not too disturbing. There was still space at 10 p.m. on a weekday. No amenities. It does the job!
