As of March 1 2024, this area will be paid parking! Still, a lovely spot but a shame it is no longer free.
Alright parking for a day visit to Rotterdam. Seems like a safe place. We stayed just during the day so no overnight experience. There is a park with a fresh water tap near by and rental bikes to go to the city were also close by
We also parked here for free and comfortably explored Rotterdam by bike. Although the place seems remote, it was still quite busy. Fortunately, we got one of the last parking spaces, where we parked the motorhome backwards, with the rear extending beyond the space onto a meadow, allowing us to unload our bikes comfortably.Translating
We parked here for a whole day. The surroundings are clean, and there is a toilet and a small restaurant. Parking is free. A sports center is nearby. The parking area is lit, but in our opinion it was not suitable for sleeping overnight.Translating
The parking area was closed because there was a circus, but I was able to park along the street and visit the city by bike in 15 minutes.Translating
Police came two times and told us we were only allowed to stay overnight on an official campsite
