Wild camping at Plansee is strictly prohibited, because camping legislation applies in Tyrol. The penalties are serious: anyone caught can expect a fine of up to €220 per person.
Nice little hiking car park, with access to the stream across the road. Unfortunately, mountain rescue arrived at 9:30 p.m. and we had to spend the night in the car park at Hotel Forelle for €45.
Spot OK. Quiet.
It’s quite okay. You can hear the road quite clearly, but from 9 p.m. it became somewhat quieter as described. Around 11 p.m., the municipal authorities arrived and threatened us with a €220 fine, but they were friendly enough to leave it at that as long as we drove on immediately. This also applies to restoring roadworthiness.
The place is good. Directly by the road but still somewhat sheltered. I would have listed it as a car park rather than surrounded by nature. My rating refers to it as a car park. Starting point for a hiking route for experienced hikers. The swimming spot and water seem to be the river on the other side of the road. With O2 and Telekom, there is stable reception—suitable for working from home ;).
