85 Landstraße, 63939, Wörth am Main
Been here?
A campsite directly on the Main, opposite the vineyards, with pitches partly paved and partly on meadow. The setting is attractive, but recent comments describe the site as run-down and dominated by long-term campers. The sanitary facilities are clean but extremely basic and about 10 minutes away on foot. A restaurant with beer garden is available, and a cycle path crosses the site.

Location: directly on the river, which could be beautiful, but unfortunately a cycle path runs straight through it. Very run-down. Sanitary facilities clean, but unfortunately a 10-minute walk away. When leaving at 9 a.m., we had to call several times. Just about okay for one night.
An estimated 98% long-term campers who have set themselves up like in an allotment garden. Showers are very far away, clean but extremely spartan. Although I usually choose campsites specifically for their sanitary facilities, I skipped them here and used the facilities in the motorhome instead. My conclusion: Not worth it!
No response to inquiries by email. You get the impression: There are enough long-term campers, and the others can come or not; if they are lucky, they may find a corner.
Simply a good campsite, especially for passing through. Many permanent guests. Very friendly welcome and farewell. Quick response to my email, and we got a nice pitch directly on the Main. Small playground, neat toilets. We ate in the beer garden with a Greek touch: delicious starter platter and tarte flambée! Because of the road opposite and the factory, a tip: bring earplugs. ;-) Great value for money!
Nice camping. Clean facilities and we got a space just by the river. We could park two camper in one spot and share electricity, no problem as he just had one we could outlet. We paid 38 Euros for one camper with 4 people and a dog.
We stayed directly on the Main with our camper. Toilet nearby, shower building was a long walk. Shower costs extra and works with coins. Friendly welcome. We were not given much information about Wi-Fi, etc.
Beautifully located on the Main and opposite the vineyards. Directly on the cycle path. Otherwise, so-so. The site seems mainly designed for long-term campers. Space for short-term guests in the second row beside the playground. Showers very far away. Value for money is okay.
