Quiet cemetery parking, water off

We wanted to park in the area at the cemetery entrance, but a bus driver kindly told us that those spaces were reserved for buses. We chose the large, completely flat car park at the back, which is still being developed but accessible without any problem. Very quiet night.✦Translating

Unfortunately, the second “large” parking area is reserved for SITA buses; there are signs everywhere today, and both accesses to the dirt area at the back are currently closed for “works.” Only the small main parking area on a slope remains.✦Translating

Good place next to the cemetery with a beautiful view. Quiet night with public lighting. I suggest not occupying the spaces at the cemetery’s main entrance, but continuing farther and parking in front of the secondary entrance; otherwise, a prohibition will eventually arrive.✦Translating

There were many cars parked in the area shown in the photos. There is a free parking area at the beginning of the cemetery, but it is more sloped. I preferred to continue. There are better cemeteries to sleep at :)✦Translating

We spent a very quiet night here before visiting Matera. It is worth taking a walk around the village. There is a fountain to the right of the entrance gate. The ground is practically flat, with beautiful views, especially at sunset.✦Translating

Very quiet place. We parked below the cemetery, where it is flatter than at the entrance. There is a water point to the right of the entrance. Beautiful walk around the castle and a playground for children.✦Translating
