38 Via Papa Giovanni XXIII, 75010, Miglionico
Been here?
Quiet cemetery parking with a beautiful view and a larger, flat rear area now accessible, although it is still being developed. The spaces at the main entrance are reserved for buses, while the smaller front parking is more inclined. Overnight stays are generally peaceful, with little traffic. The water supply is currently turned off.

We wanted to park in the area at the cemetery entrance, but a bus driver kindly told us that those spaces were reserved for buses. We chose the large, completely flat car park at the back, which is still being developed but accessible without any problem. Very quiet night.Translating
The parking area behind the cemetery is now accessible, all nice and brand new, and there is plenty of space.Translating
we spend a quiet night here infront of the second entrance as per suggestion of the other people that slept here. not a lot of traffic passes by.
Unfortunately, the second “large” parking area is reserved for SITA buses; there are signs everywhere today, and both accesses to the dirt area at the back are currently closed for “works.” Only the small main parking area on a slope remains.Translating
Good place next to the cemetery with a beautiful view. Quiet night with public lighting. I suggest not occupying the spaces at the cemetery’s main entrance, but continuing farther and parking in front of the secondary entrance; otherwise, a prohibition will eventually arrive.Translating
Beautiful view, the WATER IS TURNED OFF RUNNING (December).
Absolutely okay for an overnight stay—very quiet, no people.Translating
There were many cars parked in the area shown in the photos. There is a free parking area at the beginning of the cemetery, but it is more sloped. I preferred to continue. There are better cemeteries to sleep at :)Translating
Very, very quiet. Lovely town for a peaceful walk. Excellent pastry shop and pizzeria on the square opposite the castle.Translating
I agree with the initial review. Just be careful of the tree branches.Translating
We spent a very quiet night here before visiting Matera. It is worth taking a walk around the village. There is a fountain to the right of the entrance gate. The ground is practically flat, with beautiful views, especially at sunset.Translating
Very quiet place. We parked below the cemetery, where it is flatter than at the entrance. There is a water point to the right of the entrance. Beautiful walk around the castle and a playground for children.Translating
Nice place to spend the night. It feels safe and is clean. The water tap is also great. Nice village too. Very clean.Translating
