It is approximately a 20-minute bike ride from York, with friendly staff and clean toilets and showers. Electricity was reported at £80 for 2 adults and 2 children, while one grass pitch was somewhat cramped.

Everything you would expect from a CAMC site, friendly welcome, great toilets and showers on site and a peaceful location. Not as close to York as their other site but nice rural feel to the location. Only dropped a star due to our grass pitch slightly crammed in, otherwise would highly recommend.
Very beautiful and quiet location. Large pitch, very good sanitary facilities, very friendly—everything was excellent.
Good campsite, well maintained, large gravel pitches, level, with electrical hookup. Campervan for two adults and two children with electricity: €80. Uber near the campsite costs £8 each way, five minutes by car to the centre. New, clean toilets.
Beautiful and very clean. Excellent play area. Very friendly staff. You can take a taxi into the city for about £12.
Relatively expensive, but the other campsites around York are too. Clean showers and toilets. The road is slightly audible, otherwise clean. You can reach York quickly by car or bicycle.
