This is a large, free daytime parking area beside the entrance to the cave, with dedicated motorhome spaces and access for vehicles of any size. Parking is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., so overnight stays are not allowed. The spaces are partly sloping, with some shade from trees, and there are no other services. Free charging for EVs is available.

Huge parking area directly at the cave entrance. Free, no overnight stays. Accessible to motorhomes of any size. Not far from the motorway to Trieste or Ljubljana. Very practical; the cave is absolutely amazing.

Definitely worth it! Free parking for a tour of impressive caves. The tour lasted about two hours. In the off-season, check the tour times—we only just made it in time for the last tour at 1 p.m.

A good parking area where cars respecting the motorhome spaces would make it ideal, but as usual they respect nothing. For the kind of parking area it is, it is amazingly free. Unfortunately, we could not get tickets to enter that day, so sadly we had to leave.
