Harbour overnight stop, no waste disposal

If you are passing through and only need to take a shower, but do not want to park overnight, be careful when entering the small building with the showers, because some Germans monitor it and will not let you in.

Good place to visit Preikestolen. The sanitary facilities are adequate, but do not expect luxury. It is what it needs to be. You can also book a sauna nearby in the harbor. We stayed here for two nights.

The site is more of a parking lot with plenty of activity, but it is very inexpensive. There are two showers and two toilets, one of them accessible. Use is included, and cleanliness is okay. In the off-season this is certainly sufficient, but in summer at full capacity—motorhome parking and marina—there will definitely be queues. An app must be downloaded to pay; the machine is broken.

Ideal motorhome site for the Preikestolen hike. The drive to P2 takes about 10 minutes. Sanitary facilities, washing machine, and dryer are included in the price. The price is for 24 hours. The night was not completely quiet, as harbor activity starts quite early and there is a bus stop right next door. The small island of Jørpelandsholmen next door is definitely worth a trip!

Beautiful motorhome site right at the harbor. The sanitary building is clean, and showers are available at no extra cost. Payment (€210) is via the GoMarina app or at the machine. Three minutes on foot to REMA1000, open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Great for an overnight stay before or after hiking Preikestolen; P1 is 10 minutes away.

Yes, you can stay at a harbor for 210 NOK without electricity, including showers, toilets, and even a washing machine and dryer. But if you expect even moderate peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Everything here is somewhat borderline. The booking machine is broken. We did not use the washing machine because there were too many “leftovers” from the previous user in the drum.

I wanted to stay here after hiking Preikestolen. However, it is already very uninviting. It gives me motorway-service-area vibes. I drove on.

Very good location for Preikestolen and with a great view! Many buses turn around in the rear area. If there is space, definitely choose a pitch along the wall, as it is quieter. Only 3 stars because the sanitary facilities are not convincing due to odor and cleanliness.

We loved it!!! Especially the sauna!!! And there is a very committed taxi driver who even speaks German and takes you to Preikestolen Basecamp, all from 2 people and cheaper than the bus!!!

Very convenient parking with clean toilets and showers, included in the parking price. The washing machine and dryer are also included! Note: there is only one washing machine and one dryer. A minor drawback: on the evening we were there, cars repeatedly stopped in the parking lot opposite, with their engines running and music blasting.

Camper parking in the harbor with electricity. Very simple to use, we recommend the Go Marina app, there is also a ticket machine by the toilet. Some noise in the night from the buses that have a turning point. Showers and toilets very clean, hot water for free. Washers also free for now. For entering use the pin code provided with the parking purchase.

This site is better than the free one next door because at least you are sheltered from the wind. Some traffic.

Nice site with marked pitches, so there was plenty of space between the campers. Easy self-service for renting the pitch and electricity.

Fantastic area for climbing Preikestolen and visiting Stavanger. Showers, toilets, water filling, washing machine, and dryer at the harbor, all free! Next to the starting and ending station of Stavanger bus line 100, which takes you to the center in 40 minutes. Payment is via the Kolumbus app, with departures every 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no gray-water or chemical-toilet disposal. Payment is made through the GoMarina app.

A good place for one night, right by the harbor. You share the sanitary facilities with the boats that dock there. The bus parking area directly next door is a little strange.

Okay for one night. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not very hygienic. Before showering, we first had to remove hair and other debris from the shower.

Excellent base for spending the night before hiking to Preikestolen, quiet and safe. Directly at the harbor, with drinking water available for filling up. Electricity costs an additional 50 NOK; a code is provided to activate the hookup. Bathrooms, showers, washing machine, and dryer are accessible with a code after payment. Everything worked, and it was one of the few dryers that actually dried all the clothes well. Recommended. Night: 200 NOK.

Good location before or after Preikestolen! Toilets, laundry, and showers are included in the 200 NOK fee. We were facing the harbor, on the left as you arrive, so the sun sets directly in front of you. A bus right next door also goes to Stavanger, though we did not try it. We did not take electricity.

The total cost is 200 NOK; electricity can be added for 50 NOK. Good starting point, with the bus station right outside, for Preikestolen.

We still got a pitch late in the evening. You can pay through the app or at the machine by the toilet building. You then receive the code for the toilets and showers by email. The pitches are somewhat cramped. Cost: 200 NOK. Very close to Preikestolen.

A very pleasant pitch facing the harbor, with all services included in the fee, such as showers, washing machine, and dryer. Perfect for settling in and enjoying a good shower after a hike. Payment is a little complicated: two tickets for parking and the sanitary code, and two tickets for electricity with its own code, but everything worked perfectly.

Good pitch right by the water. We arrived around 1:30 p.m. and easily found a space. By evening, it was full. You can pay for the pitch at the machine, 200 NOK, and for electricity, 55 NOK. Showers and toilets are included and are in the building by the machine. Fresh water can be added, but disposal is not possible. That is available 3 km farther toward Preikestolen on the main road.

Our first stop in Norway, and very good! 250 NOK for the pitch and 200 NOK for services, showers, toilets, laundry, etc. Beautiful view of the marina and quiet. Thanks to the town, as we did not always find these services later on our route. The town center is nearby; Restaurant Villa Rosehagen is opposite, with a perfect view of the fjord for our first evening. It also allows you to go to Preikestolen early.

Nice pitch directly on the fjord. You can choose whether you want electricity. Very close to Preikestolen and other attractions on the Lysefjord. You can also walk from the pitch into Jørpeland, where there are a few nice shops.

Ideal for visiting Preikestolen. The bus leaves directly from the site. Tickets are bought through the Skyss Billett app. The bus to Stavanger also departs there; tickets are bought through the Kolumbus Billett app. The 24-hour ticket is excellent. Check the timetable in the Kolumbus app. It is best to travel to Fiskepiren. The toilet and shower are okay, though sometimes you have to wait. That was fine for us. Payment is at the machine. You can also book the sauna.

Highly recommended pitch. Directly by the water and very quiet at night despite the site being completely full. Not every pitch has an electrical connection, and the sanitary facilities are a little small for so many people. Otherwise, really great; we felt comfortable and were only 15 minutes from Preikestolen.

Convenient and in a pretty town, with all shops accessible within 10 minutes. However, there are too few toilets and showers for the number of motorhome pitches and boats.

There were 3 motorhomes when we arrived, so we had our choice of pitches. The building with the clean, functional sanitary facilities, washing machines, and dryers was excellent. I was able to use the machines without waiting, and it is good that they are included in the pitch fee. I think this site is very good and inexpensive compared with other places in the country.
