Route de la Vierge aux Berceaux, 75016, Paris
Been here?
A large free parking area beside a waterfall, suitable for visiting Paris and staying overnight. It is about 50m from a bus stop, with public transport reaching the Eiffel Tower in 30min. The avenue creates considerable daytime noise, while the area is quieter at night. Night-time loitering and prostitution have been reported nearby.

We stayed overnight at this location because we arrived in Paris during a long holiday weekend and all the campsites were full. No problems and no charge, but it is very noisy because of the avenue in front. Still, it is not an obstacle to getting some rest.
Surprised there was no sign prohibiting parking. We had a good feeling leaving our van for the day(s) in Paris. Our dog loved that we had to cross through the forest to get to the city center. Off-leash seemed to be no problem if you watch out for runners and bikers. We came twice between 10-11am and found a spot. For the night we looked for something more green outside the city.
We parked right next to the small lake and waterfall and stayed for one night. During the day we left our camper there because it was free, and took the bus toward the Eiffel Tower to visit Paris. Light sleepers might hear traffic from the main road. I slept very well.
We parked only during the day, and it was excellent for visiting Paris: free parking and a bus stop just a few meters away. At night, we were told that sex workers hang around. Very pleasant place with the waterfall in the background.
I give it three stars because it is Paris and we were able to spend the night for free, but people were hanging around at night, so it did not feel very trustworthy. If you return from the city center by bike, it is better to use the road rather than the cycle path because this is a prostitution area.
Stayed here for 2 nights, e-bike rental across street takes you 15 mins to get to Eiffel Tower. Sex worker on the corner but was harmless. Waterfall is beautiful. Very quiet at night but pretty loud during day but that didn’t bother us
We only stayed here during the day. When we arrived around noon, four motorhomes were already there. We then walked through the forest to the Eiffel Tower, about a one-hour walk. The waterfall by the parking area is great; you can also walk behind it through the small cave. Do not forget the environmental sticker to avoid trouble; it costs €4.91 online.
We stayed here for two days and one night. Traffic can still be heard in the evening, and the parking area is also busy. On the other hand, it is easy to get to Paris by bus, and the stop is not far away.
We parked here for one day to visit Paris. Excellent, everything went well. Parking opposite a lovely waterfall, 50 meters from a bus stop. We reached the Eiffel Tower in 30 minutes by public transport. Recommended!
WARNING: the parking area is closed from the 11th to the 14th because of an AC/DC concert.
During the Olympic Games? The park is very busy because it is next to a forest park where many people go to exercise, but it is fantastic for spending the day and night while visiting Paris. A four-star restaurant, expensive. Recommended.
Free and spacious. Directly beside a park and forest used for running and walking dogs. Adequate for an overnight stay. No sex workers, as is common in and around the forest, or in the neighboring parking area. The city is easy to reach by rental bike in 15–20 minutes.
Do not stay here! A young man tried to break into my van while I was inside it.
The parking area is what it is: for parking and seeing the city. There are no water-filling or dumping facilities, but it works for sleeping. We spent three nights accompanied by several motorhomes and vans. The bus stop for line 70 is a two-minute walk away and takes you to the center, Notre-Dame; changing to line 72 takes you to the Eiffel Tower. Overall, a good place for visiting Paris.
