A public car park opposite the Iserhatsche museum where overnight stays are possible. It is a clean, easily accessible stop near the A7, surrounded by greenery and generally very quiet at night, with only occasional traffic. The museum is currently closed, and a rubbish bin is across the road.

Very quiet night in the museum parking area, which is currently closed. There is a bin on the other side of the road. The place is unusual; it is a shame it is closed. The local artist died last year.
Nice place for one night. We were alone and it was very quiet. In the morning we were woken by birdsong rather than passing cars, although that may be because we stayed from Saturday to Sunday in early March. We would visit this place again.
Great place for one night. We are also staying here alone tonight. Very easy access from the A7 and very clean. Recommended!
Excellent place to begin exploring the heathland. Highly recommended as a stopover. Center Parcs is around the corner. A daytime visit can be booked online, but it is not cheap. Iserhatsche is quirky but worth seeing. It is very different from ordinary tourist attractions—something completely different. The bookable guided tour explains everything.

We spent a very peaceful night here. There was no traffic at all at night and only a few cars in the morning. We were completely alone, surrounded by nature. Lidl, Edeka, and others are five minutes away.
We had a super peaceful night. However, we stayed in the regular parking area at Iserhatsche, not directly by the road. Nobody was bothered and nobody complained. In the morning, we visited Iserhatsche. It is quite quirky, but also interesting.
Far too scary! We did not dare. It is more or less in the middle of the forest. A real test of courage.
A wonderful place to spend the night. It offers nothing but peace. Occasionally a car passes, which then seems quite loud. We slept very well. We did not visit Iserhatsche; it would have cost €12 per person with a guided tour, and it did not appeal to us personally.
