Camping Au Bois du Cé **** is 3 kms from Puy du Fou, with large grassy pitches separated by flowering hedges. It has sanitary blocks, an emptying area accessible to very large motorhomes, and indoor and outdoor pools with an aqua-play area. Recent stays found the outdoor pool closed and the indoor pool cool and ageing. The main road, nearby farms and railway can create considerable noise and unpleasant smells. One overnight stop with a Trafic, two people and electricity cost 56€.

Campsite not worthy of four stars: we ended up on rough ground without shade, with a sewage smell throughout the lower part of the campsite. The pool is not really heated, the price is very high for what it offers, and the children's facilities are quite old. The campsite is really not worth the price or the stars. The motorhome area next to Puy du Fou is splendid and costs €15 per night.Translating
Stopping for one night with a camper van for two people and electricity, the price was €56 for one night! Prohibitive price for one night. That's taking it too far.Translating
Very warm welcome, a very large grassy area for parking your motorhome, quiet location, clean sanitary facilities, swimming pool, and children's play area! Everything is perfect! Five minutes by car from Puy du Fou. I recommend it!Translating
Warm and efficient welcome. Large pitches. Very clean, heated sanitary facilities. Heated, well-maintained indoor pool. No problem with the barrier. You can hear the road a little, but it is not bothersome. Quick access to Puy du Fou.Translating
Large pitches separated by hedges. The paths to the sanitary facilities are insufficiently lit. The sanitary facilities are rather dirty. The license-plate detector at the entrance was not working properly, so we were stuck outside when returning from Puy du Fou. Nobody answered the emergency number! We had to sort it out ourselves. Noise from our neighbors until 1 a.m.!Translating
Ideal for a quiet camping stay while visiting Puy du Fou. Very well maintained. Large pitches. Very warm welcome. Very clean sanitary facilities. I recommend it.Translating
Great campsite, with a large, tree-lined pitch. Excellent pool and bar. Clean, spacious sanitary facilities. Welcoming staff, next to Puy du Fou, and they adapt to its opening hours.Translating
Campsite ideally located for visiting Puy du Fou. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, although the changing rooms are not very clean. The major problem with this campsite is that the sanitary facilities are very dirty, at least during this period.Translating
Dangerous entrance. The sign says the campsite is full, but quite the opposite is true—it is empty. The pitch was sloping even with leveling blocks, there are not many toilets or showers, it is not very clean or large, and everything is focused on the pool.Translating
Very welcoming campsite with excellent staff. However, we were overrun by flying ants, there was a persistent strong septic-tank smell, and no mobile network at all! Pool tiles moved when walked on, and leaving the campsite was very dangerous.Translating
Warm welcome and a relaxing place. Magnificent pool, excellent pizza, and bread and pastries supplied by a village master baker. Perhaps Wi-Fi should be included in the package.Translating
