Been here?
A large, shaded campsite in Mugello, 7 kms from the Mugello Circuit, with a restaurant, bar, mini-market, swimming pool and many recreational facilities. It provides camper services, electricity, washing machines, dryers and two sanitary blocks with free hot water. The facilities are clean but somewhat dated, and the pitches can be sloping or muddy in rain. A free shuttle connects the campsite with San Piero a Sieve station for Florence; 58 euro was reported for 4 people.

Good campsite with a great welcome. The sanitary facilities, although regularly maintained, are a little dated. Slightly excessive price. But pleasant surroundings and the possibility of a free shuttle to the station and to Florence, which is a major advantage because it avoids driving into central Florence.
Excellent, cost €58 for four people. Bathrooms a little far away but clean. The pool is also a little far away but nice. Very shady.
Quiet campsite 7 km from the Mugello circuit. All motorhome services available on site. Leveling blocks necessary on the pitches. Mini-market, bar, restaurant and pool. The sanitary facilities are functional. Welcoming staff. A little expensive, but I recommend it without hesitation.
Very clean campsite. All facilities are available, a little outdated but everything is kept very tidy. From the campsite, the train to Florence is easily accessible by bicycle or shuttle. From there we also cycled to the lake, which is very beautiful and good for sitting on a terrace, as well as pedal boating, swimming, etc. Highly recommended.
A campsite that has seen better days. Toilets and showers are clean but old. Three of the six toilets are squat toilets, which nobody used. No Wi-Fi except at reception, and that is with poor mobile coverage (Vodafone). Positives: very peaceful, good food in the restaurant, friendly staff and shuttle service to the station.
We were still welcomed at 11:30 p.m. and, after a small odyssey, found a good place to stand. The pitches in the upper row are ideal because you hardly need to level there. The lower pitches definitely require chocks and supports. We cannot assess the sanitary facilities or the rest. We left again first thing in the morning.
Stopped for one night in a van on a rainy evening. Old but very clean sanitary facilities. Extremely quiet night, with just a few campers on site. The campsite closes at the beginning of November.
Delighted to find a facility with a dryer as well as a washer, and both worked great. Campsite seems well run, maintained by a busy staff, a little dated but all fine. The only let downs were slightly sloping pitches that got horribly mucky in the rain, and totally unreliable data signal that caused me a lot of stress for remote working.
Beautiful terraced location. The very top is best and sunniest. Sanitary facilities are outdated but reasonably clean.
A beautiful campsite. Excellent welcome in French. Pitches are not very large but well defined by hedges. Free choice of pitch. Easy access. Very clean sanitary facilities, congratulations to the cleaning teams (hot water for washing dishes, toilet paper). Very quiet surroundings. Nice restaurant and pool area. 29 km from Florence, with shuttles and buses for those without transport.
We stayed here for two nights in a motorhome. Everything was perfect, from booking by email through reception. ALL the staff are very pleasant, professional and friendly, whether at reception, in the restaurant, maintenance or the shuttle. The restaurant offers excellent value for money and top service. Everything was perfect, and the facilities were clean and well maintained.
Very pleasant campsite with beautiful pitches. Free pool; bring a swimming cap. Sanitary facilities in good condition and clean. Warm welcome.
Nice campsite completely surrounded by greenery, a few kilometers from the Mugello Circuit. Prices are extremely high, like a grand hotel, but the pool and restaurant serving Tuscan specialties are excellent. There is quite a lot of female company on site and a small fitness area, but pull-ups are impossible because there is no bar. Recommended overall.
Relying on the many good reviews, we booked the site for two nights. We arrived and drove straight back out. A truly terrible place. We were happy to forfeit the deposit. The pitch was sloped by 5 degrees and felt like a storage yard. Zero charm. The reception was friendly, but we felt very uncomfortable.
The campsite is very good. The pool is great. The best thing is the transport to Florence; that alone makes it worthwhile. The only bad thing, which is not the campsite's fault, is that mobile data coverage is nonexistent in some places. The Wi-Fi does not reach there either. Being without internet nowadays is unacceptable.
Large, spacious site. You can choose your own pitch. Sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean. Pool usable from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Washing machine €5 including detergent, dryer €4 (in €1 coins; change available at reception). Well-organized shuttle service to the station. Perfect!
Very friendly staff and perfect for spending a day in Florence. The staff take you by shuttle to the nearest station (35 minutes by train to Florence) and pick you up from the station again after arranging it via WhatsApp.
Well-equipped campsite. Pool, restaurant and mini-market. But the best thing is the shuttle service to the station. For €7.80, the train takes you to Florence in 35 minutes. Yes, the washroom is old, but it was always spotlessly clean when we were there.
Very nice campsite, friendly reception and plenty of space. Good facilities: swimming pool, mini-market and restaurant. Sanitary facilities good. We stayed one night. €36 for a van and two people is rather expensive.
Rather expensive. Sanitary facilities are dated, but overall it is a nice place.
We are traveling with a camper van. It is the only campsite open in the area during this season. They let us shower for €5 without staying overnight, then continue our journey. Good solution!
We have just spent four nights here. Very warm welcome from a young woman who speaks French very well. Very clean sanitary facilities and a beautiful pitch. Nothing negative to say about this campsite.
Ok for one night. Difficult to undestand the high rating. Terraced site with sloping pitches. Service facilities are fair on the lower level. At the top buildings are run down and look abandoned.
One person with a caravan without electricity, €19.50 at the end of October. Friendly reception, open all year. Recommended.
Lovely quiet area. At the end of October, we were almost alone on the campsite with the camper. In the middle of nature. Good restaurant. Late checkout until 3 p.m. Sanitary facilities at the very top are very old but clean. We liked it very much overall!
We came at the beginning of October without a reservation and there were pitches available. The person at reception speaks French well, the place is clean, and there is a free shuttle to the station for Florence.
Very good welcome, in French. Showers and laundry very clean. Good restaurant. Quiet at this time of year. We spent two nights and a very pleasant day.
Lovely friendly staff. Great setting. Very safe and clean. We used the laundry and it was perfect. If you enjoy walking, there is a long distance path from the upper gate, to San Piero or all the way to Bologna. Restaurant is reasonable with a large varied menu. Many veggie options. We planned one night and stayed two. Great place.
Great campsite, 21eur a night with Acsi card. Free shuttle to the train station which you book the day before. 35 min train into Florence ! The staff are really chilled and you can rock up and pick your own spot. You are parked up in the woods which is a nice change from the city !
Spacious campsite with very clean sanitary facilities and a large pool. We stayed one night; it was very quiet, and checkout until 3 p.m. was convenient.
Very good welcome, in French. Nice pitches, even for large motorhomes. Direct access to the long-distance hiking trails through a campsite gate. Ideal base for visiting Florence, 40 minutes by scooter or car. There is also a free campsite shuttle to the station, from where you can take the train to Florence. All services are available. We recommend this place.
Sanitary facilities are dated. The site is confusing and spread across a large wooded area. It is difficult for people with walking difficulties and older people. You can enter the grounds without control. Pitches are neglected. Not suitable for women traveling alone: our female neighbor was harassed. Wi-Fi is only available near reception, not at the pitches. Sorry, but the negative experiences outweigh the positives for me.
Great elevated campsite. Pleasant staff. Swimming cap mandatory in the pool. Hot water and electricity: €57 for two adults and two children, one night in a van. Checkout at 3 p.m. Shuttle to Florence. Restaurant and small shop. Very nice.
This campsite fully lives up to all the descriptions; it is really nice, and so is the staff. The pool is fantastic, and I highly recommend the truffle pizzas. Finally, true tourism professionals. I strongly recommend this excellent campsite.
Nice, well-maintained campsite. Bathrooms cleaned twice a day and well kept. No shop, but there is a bar with a few very expensive items. Everything is centered around the pool, with plenty of loungers and parasols included.
Excellent campsite; we found a pitch at the last minute in the middle of August. A very large pool for cooling off. The sanitary facilities are clean. Most pitches are shaded. The staff are very friendly.
