A small daytime parking area near the ruins on a quiet dead-end road, with a sheltered picnic table and a bin. The space accommodates about 3-5 cars depending on vehicle size and arrangement, and visitors or local vehicles may pass by. A large no-camping sign is now present, replacing the earlier information about free unlimited parking.

There is a big "No camping" sign there now.
A truly dreamlike place, unfortunately a no-overnight-stays sign has been put up, while the lower car park is actually closed by a barrier.

Beautiful and quiet place. A hike along the canyon passes by. There is a sheltered picknick table. The Police passed by in the evening and just continued on and the locals didn't seem to boter that we were here. Just a little windy.

A very beautiful place with a view of the castle ruins. In the morning and evening, a shepherd leads the sheep out to pasture and brings them back. Quite a peaceful place, about 15 minutes from the Plitvice Lakes car park. Space for approximately 3–5 cars, depending on their size and how they are arranged.
Really only if you have nowhere else. It is small, uneven, and local cars make it difficult to manoeuvre and park properly with a 6-metre vehicle.
Nice spot just before a tower ruin. Small hut with seating. We stood here with several other campers. A flock of sheep comes by in the morning and evening!
Horrible night. Until 10 p.m. everything was perfect, the spot was magnificent, with a table and bench for eating, nothing to complain about. But from 10 p.m., three cars arrived at high speed and around ten very noisy young people got out. One group went towards the ruins with very loud music, while another stayed at the table near the car park, making a lot of noise. Until 4 a.m. there was constant coming and going and noise.
Great spot for one night! Quite peaceful, with some passing traffic but nothing bothersome. Magnificent mountain views! Incredible sunset. In the evening and morning, the shepherd passes by with his flock of sheep. A truly unique experience.
Good place to spend the night. Space for about 3 or 4 motorhomes/campers, since access to the castle is blocked by a bollard.
