Batuca Village & Camping

A horror of a parking area for us! You have to pay in advance! Daily entertainment is so loud that it can be heard all over Sicily, until 1 a.m.! The showers and toilets are dirty! The trees were only recently pruned and provide hardly any shade.✦Translating

Apart from the entertainment (the youngsters are willing and try to entertain the guests), everything else leaves something to be desired. The bathrooms are old but reasonably clean, the camper pitch must be paid for in advance, the pitches are not very spacious, the pool is small and crowded, and the dated sun loungers and umbrellas are three-quarters broken. I will not come again.✦Translating

Very few shaded pitches, convenient facilities with hot water, and a pebble beach across the road. Using the membership card, I paid only €24 for everything included. Excellent pool with entertainment.✦Translating

Helpful and pleasant staff. The place is not under the trees, as can be seen from the photos. The trees were trimmed and are waiting for them to grow back. There are sticks and leaves from the trees around the parking spaces. Great pool and nice beach. The water in the showers smells; according to the staff it is not a problem. If there was no pool, I would not go here.

Went there on second half of Sept and they let us stay even if the camping was already closed. Opened toilets/lights/hot water just for us. Would recommend

€23 for camper van and 2 people. Installations show their age and are not particularly clean. Staff is friendly and location is ok. If you like loud animation until late night, this is the perfect place for you.

Lots of shade. That is what the two stars are for. Lots of loud music for the campsite guests' entertainment until late in the evening. Mediocre campsite. €5 to pay for the small pool, with a swimming cap compulsory. And if you go to the beach, you first have to pay €5. The guests were friendly, though.✦Translating

Batuca village, a wonderful place to enjoy pure relaxation and fun... We arrived there by chance and no longer wanted to leave! Thanks to the excellent management of Andrea Spina and the engaging, never intrusive entertainment led by Gaetano Milone, we spent a wonderful holiday. Well done, guys—we will certainly return. Nice campsite, with really friendly staff. All the facilities you could need, and right across the road from the beach.

We stayed here for two nights. The site provides shade, is close to the sea, and the pool area is also good. What really bothered us is that there is loud entertainment at the pool all day during opening hours, and loud music, entertainment and announcements in Italian every evening until midnight. That would be fine at the weekend, but having something every evening during the week is too much.✦Translating
