Pré Guichard, 17190, La Brée-les-Bains
Been here?
Small daytime parking beside the road, with picnic tables, views over the marshes, a nearby fishing spot and the start of a cycle path. Height is limited to 2.00m. It can be busy and noisy during the day, while nights are often quiet, though Saturday nights and some weekends can be very disturbed.

Small parking area by the road. With earplugs it is fine, as there is some traffic at night. View of the marshes. Very beautiful sunset. We were five vans/camper cars.
Great spot, but the parking area can quickly fill up. Height limited to 2 meters. Near the road, it may be noisy during the day, but we had no problems at night.
Spent one night here; calm at night, horses passing during the day, and a cycle path nearby. We were two vans, maximum height 2 m.
Pleasant spot, with some traffic on the cycle path in the evening (Friday). There were two of us, one converted car and one van.
We arrived around 4 p.m. on a Thursday and stayed one night. Lots of cyclists and runners passed by, but everything quietened down around 8 p.m. The night was very calm and we were the only two vans.
We arrived around 7 p.m. and stayed one night. Traffic on the road decreases considerably around 10 p.m.; only bicycles continue to pass quietly. Peaceful night, and we were alone in our van.
Nice setting, but the night was very disturbed by cars coming and going and young people parking to go to the nightclub not far from the parking area. Not recommended on a Saturday night.
Quiet in the evening with a picnic table, but not at night on Friday. Quite a lot of bicycles passed, even at 4 a.m. Disrespectful people shouting at cyclists.
Pleasant spot but lively on Saturday night. Lots of very noisy cars coming and going, with music and shouting, all night. The rest of the day is great.
It's best to arrive late and leave the space to locals during the day. Great sunsets and sunrises. Excellent with the picnic tables. We slept here out of season.
Our second time here without any problems. Some weekend traffic on the cycle path right beside the site, but it wasn't disturbing.
Spent one night without any disturbance. It was so quiet that I could hear the waves. A lovely salt shop nearby, and five minutes by car from the La Brée market.
Very beautiful place, but near a bar, so there was some noise at night from drunk pedestrians. If you want to stay overnight, arrive later, as people park here during the day to go fishing and to the beach, and the place gets very full.
Very nice place for vehicles under 2 m. In the heart of the marshes, so beware of mosquitoes. No services, so please preserve it. Mainly a parking area for starting cycle routes.
