Quiet gravel site, broken water

Passing through for the services, the service post still does not work, nor does the one in Saint-Florentin.

Thirteen beautiful, spacious motorhome pitches in a very quiet area. Well organized, and only €8.50 per person. Bravo, Pontigny.

Pitch okay at €9. But €9 for electricity for only 12 hours is excessive. So actually €27 for 24 hours with electricity... Not great.

Nice motorhome pitch, with picnic areas nearby. Water connection via Gardena hose coupling. Unfortunately, the fresh-water station was not working. Waste disposal is outside the pitch, in the parking area before the barrier.

Motorhome pitch opposite the abbey. Road noise is not bothersome. The pitch is flat; no leveling blocks needed. Toilet facilities open: men’s squat toilet and urinal; women’s seated toilet. €8 + €0.50 tourist tax per person.

The water station does not work.

Excellent rest area. Quiet, very clean, with children's games. For 4 people with electricity for 12 hours, we paid €19. Minor drawback: the electricity hookups do not match the pitches. We would come again.

Water and electricity station out of order. Bakery closed on Wednesdays.

Lovely area for spending the night. All services are paid except gray-water disposal. Water costs €3 for 10 minutes, but it is shut off in winter, as is black-water disposal. Electricity costs €9 for 12 hours, which is excessive considering current electricity prices. The area is not very secure because it can be accessed very easily, even by car, without going through the entrance. We therefore paid €9 for two people for parking only.

Nice camper-van area for an overnight stay; the toilets, without toilet seats, are always open. Unfortunately, the water supply does not work. Feel free to visit the abbey.

Magnificent motorhome area, gravel ground surrounded by grass, an electrical hookup at every pitch. €8 for 24 hours is reasonable, but the electricity is not great. Thanks to the municipality.

Clean and quiet area, but filling with fresh water does not work. The services are outside; we saw them once we had passed through the barrier. The rating is therefore overall, as nothing indicates that there is no water or where the services are. What a shame.

The area is quiet. Be sure to check your pitch and its number before buying electricity. A good motorhome traveler should have the complete connection system. Thanks to the town hall.
