Hiking parking, vans prohibited

Wild camping forbidden. This is a car park for hikers but not suitable for vans. The road is very stony; we punctured two tyres. Locals pass by and the shepherds are not very happy.

This is a private car park used by local families to access the hikes on the plateau. Vans are very inconvenient and forbidden. If you dare to park overnight, plan to leave early in the morning.

Indeed, a magnificent place and an excellent starting point for hikes. That said, the path is extremely rocky, very steep, and continues for more than a kilometre. Very few level spaces and no network.

The view is magnificent! The place is so peaceful! However, it is first come, first served for the spaces with a view, and they make sure to tell you when you arrive later. We parked on the left at the entrance, on the small mound, and it was perfect. Ideal location for accessing the climbing cliffs.

Superb spot with a view over the plateau. There were several vehicles, but we were not crowded. There is a short walk through the pastures and a café refuge 30 minutes on foot from the spot. Be careful, we were caught in hail in the middle of August.

Superb spot! Ideal for setting off on a hike the next morning. Complete peace and quiet, with only the sound of cowbells. We were there during the penultimate week of August, with only two other vans. The path may look intimidating, but with good tyres there is nothing to worry about!

Ideal out of season! We were alone. The road is difficult to access with snow, so be careful.
