The views were great and the gravel road was level. There were about 7 places which filled up at 9ish. The portable toilets were a good plus! Just acknowledge that it is not a ”campsite” but a parking lot. Close to the beautiful hikes, would stay again!

Good spot with an incredible view! We felt safe, and there are always several campers around to socialize with and relax. Close to Appenzell and Seealpsee. The bathroom is not well maintained because it is a portable toilet, and it may or may not be there when other people visit. Apart from that, it is a peaceful and quiet place with green fields, mountain views, and an incredible sunset.✦Translating

There are far too many campers, and many spread out everywhere! This is not a campsite! Do not leave your belongings outside, such as dishes. Do not unfold your rooftop tent! And above all, do not empty your toilets into the public restrooms, okay? Some people will know who they are! Let me remind you that we are on a street facing residential homes. Do not come and complain when wild camping is banned!✦Translating

Unfortunately, some people behave here as if this were a campsite. Chairs and tables outside... Yesterday, the local council representative eventually came and asked everyone to pack away their chairs and tables. Some apparently even refused, so eventually the police came and restored order. It is probably only a matter of time before a prohibition sign is put up here. What a shame...✦Translating

Very beautiful views, surrounded by mountains and green fields. It is by the roadside and not completely flat, but it is very useful. Thank you for making this free place available, which allowed us to go on the magnificent Schafler hike via the cable car. Respect this place! Please do not park on the grass!✦Translating

Wonderful view; I slept very well here. A clean toilet has even been installed! If you have bicycles or do not mind walking a little longer, you can also set off from here for Seealpsee.✦Translating

Free parking with a beautiful view. A river is nearby, and there is access to a clean toilet in the parking area. A great starting point for trekking. Plenty of parking spaces; despite the railway tracks next to it, it is fairly quiet and peaceful. I recommend it.✦Translating

When I arrived, there were already many motorhomes, but there was still enough space. The scenery is quite nice and the location is close to many activities. The area is clean. Minor drawbacks: no toilets on site, and a road and railway next to the parking area, although they are not very busy after 9 p.m.✦Translating
