Been here?
A daytime parking area beside a salt lagoon, salt marshes and beaches, with showers and restaurants nearby. It is easy to reach and offers an exceptional lagoon view, with the latest report describing complete calm. Overnight stays are not recommended because of unusual traffic and car audio noise. The salt museum opens on Wednesday from 10:00.

Today, Saturday May 16, 2026: absolute calm. Fantastic spot on the lagoon.Translating
Great for visiting the beach during the day. Not recommended for overnight stays because there is a lot of strange traffic and car-show-off noise.Translating
Good parking area in unique surroundings. The salt museum is open from 10 am on Wednesdays. If the museum gate is closed, it is not possible to cycle around the lagoon.Translating
Actually a really great place with a tavern serving excellent food, if only it were not for the car show-offs.Translating
Great spot at a saltworks, with a wonderful swimming beach on the other side.Translating
Magnificent spot, permitted in the off-season for parking. Accessible to vehicles of all sizes. Possibility of filling up with water. Salt Museum at the end of the parking area.Translating
Very quiet The water is very hotTranslating
Apparently, the heavy traffic several people complained about is caused by dealing taking place here.Translating
Stopped here to visit the Salt Museum but not overnight. Ate at the Sunset restaurant - highly recommended!
We intended to sleep here, but a local strongly advised us against it; apparently the place is not safe.Translating
Perfect place for a stopover at this time of year if you don’t need facilities. Sunny weather helps, of course. Do go and visit the excellent little salt museum (open Weds to Sun from 10 at this time of year), full of facts about salt and history of the area. Great staff too!
Perfect spot for a quiet night or just a stopover out of season.
There are still bathers at this time of year and the beach showers are working. Dog owners can easily walk around the salt museum grounds. We were only here during the day.Translating
We stopped for a lunch break and a swim. Excellent for the cause. There are many locals still enjoying the summer temperature and the beach, all showers seem to be working. It’s worth it simply for the stunning drive here (and to turn around again;))
Quiet overnight stay. Nice views. We had dinner in the taverna - food was ok but we were eaten alive by mosquitoes- literally sat in a cloud of them and that was inside! Town itself isn’t very appealing- a working town and a bit rundown.
Good place to stay; we stayed there twice. There is some activity during the day, but it is very quiet at night. The whole village, with its houses along the canal, is interesting, as is walking toward the salt pans.Translating
The motorhome parking area is closed and the bar is not operating.Translating
Very quiet night, slept very well. We parked in the car park near the restaurants. A lot of traffic in the evening. Very beautiful spot during the day and great swimming with a shower.Translating
A lot of traffic, but very quiet at night.Translating
The area is currently with some works,so we parked near the restaurant but didn't stayed for the night
Not recommended. Just stop briefly for the view and, like the locals, make the U-turn. In the 15 minutes we were there, more than 10 cars made a U-turn and left. It is comical to see two near-accidents in such a short time in such a small area, so that alone might make it worth visiting. The parking area is also currently covered with sand.Translating
