Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This waterside off-road spot is currently inaccessible because the reservoir level is too high, leaving the marked location isolated like an island. Access depends on water conditions and weather. The original location is described only as a pleasant place near the water.

The site is no longer accessible; at least in July, the water level is now far too high. A place 100 metres away is perfect and indicated on Park4Night.
The site is currently inaccessible. The reservoir is full, so the marked spot is an island, probably for an extended period. The meadows are in full bloom; it would be a shame to destroy this area with vehicles.
Dependent upon the weather reasonably accessible for most vehicles. Suggest at the end of the tarmac road you stop and walk the remainder of the way to make your own assessment. Water bins and WC located in the parking area at the end of the tarmac road.
The site is inaccessible, even with a 4x4; the water is 2 metres deep.
we stayed 100 meters before the gps spot. even ground without talk grass. in late April with 36°c the oak tree provided shade after 4pm. access for all vehicles when dry. for 4x4 if wet.
Stayed on 6/4/23 was steep uneven ground but once parked was a great location. Only spoilt by someone turning up at 1:30am waking everyone up and parking right in front of the view which turned into a past midnight argument. Would’ve given 5 stars if wasn’t for the above. Please park with common sense
Difficult night. After cats meowed until midnight, birds screamed until dawn. There was no way to fall asleep, even with earplugs. Otherwise, the site is beautiful! Less so the Manitou tractor doing construction work at 8:30 in the morning. Bad luck for me that day.
Really beautiful site. Many bird species. I was woken by the clacking of a stork's beak. On a paddleboard I saw a kingfisher; swallows and geese flew over me. The reservoir water is clean and good for swimming. Very quiet place. Toilets and barbecue.
