Shaded riverside parking, vehicle limit

Quiet spot by a small park, along the road and close to the river. Some traffic during the day, but none at night. It is very easy to drive along the river to the old town in fifteen minutes.✦Translating

We slept very well here for two nights. Shaded, flat, and fairly quiet. Our van is 8 m long and 3 m high, and we managed to park without any problems despite the restriction for vehicles over 2.5 tonnes. There are few spaces, however. Otherwise perfect for visiting the city centre, a 45-minute walk away.✦Translating

If you are lucky enough to find an empty spot along the road by the park, it is very nice. There is no sound apart from birdsong. The city centre is 2 km away, along a flat path beside the river. I think it is worth trying your luck.✦Translating
