Free 19:00/20:00-07:00/08:00, pay-by-app or coin during the day; one comment reports a 2-hour daytime limit. Quiet, flat street with little traffic, water tap and bins on site, platform for swimming in the lake, restaurants and food trucks nearby, town centre reachable by bike. Usually peaceful, though can fill up in summer and one visit ended with police waking travellers to say overnight sleeping is banned across the Riviera zone.

Perfect! Spot next to the lake, with small food trucks nearby for dinner or breakfast!
We came here around 8pm and you typically find a spot either in front of the lake or in the street bordering the lawn. Paying since 8am (2CHF/h by coin or mobile app). Would come back for a night.
Ideal place to spend the night. Spectacular view of the lake. Access down to the water for swimming. Very quiet. There is a water fountain and trash bins. Good place for a morning or sunset run.
Excellent parking spaces in the blue zone on the lakeshore (therefore not very wide). Quiet and peaceful. A platform for entering the lake is available, and several restaurants are nearby. Parking fee payable at the machine.

Top spot! Parking lot - paying by „pay by phone“! In summer cool place to get a drink, jump into the lake! Town centre easy accessible by bike! A perfect spot for a night when you are on the way!
The setting is certainly very nice, but the police woke us up and said that sleeping in a motorhome or van is prohibited throughout the Riviera area.
We stayed for a few hours to enjoy swimming and visit Vevey. Large parking spaces. Don’t hesitate to use the app to pay for parking.

After discovering that Quai Ernest Ansermat in Vevey had put up prohibition signs for campers, I looked for this alternative in La Tour-de-Peilz. Very quiet night and only birdsong in the morning. Legal. Free overnight, with payment in the morning via app. I parked a few meters farther up on Avenue du Lac, along the park. Despite the name Avenue, it is a quiet lane with hardly any traffic.
