Night of April 24–25, 2026: a very quiet night at this pleasant area, with spacious pitches perfectly suited to large motorhomes. Grey-water disposal is easily accessible. Other services were not used; electricity is not available. Thank you to the municipality. We will gladly return for a stopover; the town with its shops and restaurants is nearby, which is certainly a plus!✦Translating

Convenient area. Pitches fairly spacious. Sufficient services, apart from the lack of bins. Green spaces are very close for exercising our four-legged animals. Quiet at night. Good for resting before or after a stay at Puy du Fou and for shopping in the town's supermarkets. Good!✦Translating

Completely free service area. The pitches are large and the town center is nearby! Despite a busy street, traffic stops early and we had an excellent night. The next day we took a short walk around the market, where we found delicious cured meats! Everything is perfect—a wonderful short stay before visiting Puy du Fou. A car parked in the motorhome area even though the sign clearly says it is reserved for motorhomes. I find this unacceptable, because we motorhome users have difficulty finding places to park.✦Translating

Great location to walk to shops and laundrette. Drainage and water available (19.11.24) Be mindful that this area is used as a carpark at school pick up and drop off times and gets full of cars.

Mixed feelings. Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to empty our waste tank and refill our water supply free of charge, but there was no way to dispose of rubbish! There is a container requiring a badge or keypad code, and a phone number to obtain a one-time code (€3 per call). Despite this, we could never open the container! €3 to leave with our rubbish—what a shame!✦Translating

Very pleasant area, very close to the town center of Les Herbiers. Many shops, free water and waste disposal, very spacious pitches. A very good example for other municipalities. Recommended.

There are always complainers, but honestly, thanks to the municipality for offering motorhome users a free, almost flat, clean place with waste disposal and refilling—and I repeat: FREE.
