Been here?
This riverside stop offers a pleasant place to spend the night, with access to the Duero and a small Aquapark opposite in summer. The lower riverside area is quiet at night, with little road traffic; the water is clean and less than 1 m deep there. It has no services. Climbing back up can be difficult for heavily loaded front-wheel-drive vehicles.

We parked down by the river. A very beautiful pitch there—but with front-wheel drive and heavily loaded, I could barely get back up. After the first night, a ranger came and politely asked what we were doing. There were some communication problems, so he left with a gesture indicating that he had seen nothing.Translating
We couldn't find the trail mentioned. We slept very well, with hardly any road noise because nobody drives by at night, and we were sheltered behind a hut. Down the little steps you can get into the Douro, which is less than a meter deep there and quite clean. A few mosquitoes at night, but they didn't bite, and with the lights off we even slept with the windows open.Translating
Good place to spend the night. Directly overlooking the river near the lock. In the morning, lots of birds bathing in the river to watch—a great view. BUT: Not suitable for dogs, as large thistle spines are scattered everywhere. Our dog didn't enjoy it much.Translating
Good place for a stop and overnight stay. Access to the river and shade from the trees. No services at all, but 5G coverage.Translating
Good for stopping to eat and take a break. We were able to cool off at the aquatic complex opposite. Swimming pool and slides, ideal for children and parents.Translating
