Riverside farm pitch, seasonal opening

A lovely place to slow down, located directly on the banks of the Ems. We love the rural idyll and found it here with you. The farm is also ideal for nature lovers. Thank you for the pleasant conversations. We will return. R.W.

We stayed there for two nights with a rooftop tent and a dog and had a very relaxing time. Thomas and Claudia are super nice and helpful. There are fresh eggs from their own chickens, and you can buy firewood for an evening campfire. We would be happy to come back :)

A beautiful, well-located place, especially as a starting point for cycling tours. The toilet and shower are very clean, and the operators are friendly. Even more amenities are planned for the future; it is apparently still being developed. It would be perfect if there were also some food and drinks available on site.

I spontaneously got a space. The operators are very nice and helpful. The site is clean and well maintained. I was able to explore the area with my dog. Electricity and fresh water are available on site, as are service and disposal facilities. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is also a small farm shop and a bread-roll service. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed here for three nights, entirely to our satisfaction. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful! Actually, there was no space, because circumstances meant we could not reserve in advance. Being called back by the owner on Friday during the sunny Pentecost weekend to say that a place had become available meant we were able to enjoy cycling in the area.

A beautifully situated and quiet parking area directly by the Ems weir. Ideal as a starting point for cycling tours to Lingen or the surrounding area. Electricity is optional, and a long cable is required for connection.

Very beautiful place, super-friendly operators. You can hear the Ems weir, but it is not disturbing—in fact, the steady rushing sound is perfect for sleeping. The shower, toilet and sink are clean and well maintained. I cannot assess whether they are accessible, but there are handles beside the toilet for support, and the shower is level and quite spacious. We will return.

Well, the actual pitch, divided by ropes, looks quite acceptable. The owners are very friendly. Unfortunately, disposing of the cassette toilet into a stinking manure pit and the outdated electrical boxes are absolutely unacceptable. There is still a lot to do.

A beautiful, tastefully designed place with large pitches. There are 10 numbered pitches, with plenty of additional space. There is only one toilet with a shower, but there is also a disposal point. The surroundings are very beautiful and quiet, although you can clearly hear the Ems weir and the nearby factory. There is not much within walking distance; bicycles are recommended.

Wonderful place, super-nice couple running it. They have just bought the property and are restoring everything. Fresh eggs straight from the farm are available on request. The food service is also supposed to reopen by the end of the year. According to the operators, it will be a café/bistro with delicacies to take away as well. A small beach with a barbecue area and seating is being built.

Friendly and absolutely lovely welcome. The meadow pitch was beautifully large; relaxation and peace are guaranteed here. Electricity required a 25 m cable. We did not use the service and disposal facilities. Fresh eggs and the bread-roll service were very good. One toilet for everyone and no shower—so the price increase to €20 without electricity is not justified. I hope the operators manage to implement their concept.

Great place. Idyllically located between the forest and the Ems, with a view of the waterfall. The owners are incredibly nice. With great care, they have created a paradise for ostriches, black ducks and all kinds of poultry right next to the pitch. Toilet very clean! Unfortunately, the shower was not finished. I was very happy with the place, its wonderful location and the hosts, together with my dog and e-bike :-).

Super-friendly welcome! We arrived spontaneously because of an event at the Ems Arena—no problem! The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are spotless. The small farm shop with fresh eggs on a self-service basis is brilliant. The operators are genuinely committed and are still expanding the facilities. A real insider tip for campers!
