A practical parking area at the entrance to Stemnitsa, close to the village and suitable for visiting it. The ground is slightly sloping, wedges are essential, and the roadside location brings some noise despite little night traffic. Restaurants with wifi are on the main square, the monastery is 7km away, and there are no nearby services.

Very convenient parking before the village, very close to it. We spent a quiet night there.
We had a good, peaceful night despite being close to the road. Access from Prodromou Monastery is via a very narrow and winding road, so proceed with great caution.
Perfect for parking for the day, close to the village center, with many hiking trailheads.
Slightly sloping, beside the road but quiet and close to the village. Bin at the end of the parking area. Fountain in the village.
We only parked here during the day to walk the Menalon Trail. Plenty of space in winter and easy to reach. A short walk to the center of Stemnitsa. Some spots are slightly uneven and directly beside the main road, so it is less suitable for overnight stays.
