Recent visits found it peaceful, with little or no overnight traffic and good-quality parking. Occasional festivals or motocross events nearby can make the site noisy. Otherwise, it is a restful spot surrounded by countryside.

Beautiful spot, but on Saturday evening there was a techno festival or something, so I left at midnight because I couldn't sleep. Otherwise beautiful.
Quiet place, no noise. Peaceful and relaxing. No one around in the middle of July. We were alone. Easy access. Walks around the reservoir are possible.

The place is very cool and the pond gives it a lot of character. Unfortunately, we had a festival and motocross practice right next to us, but without that, it is great.
