Beach parking, steep access

Great, magnificent sunset, and the beach is beautiful and fairly clean. Access is not easy, but going from above with a van, a Berlingo, worked. Otherwise, it is possible to park down below along the beach. Quite calm; the road has little traffic.

Access to this parking area is very difficult, even for cars. AVOID IT! There is another parking area at the entrance to the village that seems more accessible.

While trying to access the parking area, we got stuck. Attention to somewhat long motorhomes and vans! The slope is 10%; it is better to use the dirt parking area just at the entrance to the small hamlet, with lighting and toilets.

Amazing spot overlooking a beautiful beach, and the town was lovely, although very quiet when we were there in late May. The access is indeed a short, steep hill where we scraped the bottom of our van's front bumper when leaving, but there was no permanent damage. A beautiful short walk up the hill behind the site offers a spectacular view.

Given the lack of spots nearby, in a nature reserve, this little parking area was perfect for the night! Magnificent sunset, level ground—it does the job! Our old T3 managed to climb the slope, but beware of low and/or underpowered vehicles! Next to a road, but not too noisy.

Now in the low season, we preferred to drive past the ramp and park a little farther along the roadside. This was fine with the Carabinieri who appear daily. The beach and the restaurant “Lustro ...” make this place worth staying overnight.

We couldn't manage the driveway with our T4 California, 5.40 m long. We scraped the rear with the exhaust and tow hook. Otherwise, a beautiful and very clean place.

Beautiful place right by the sea. I was completely alone there. A lovely little village is a two-minute walk away. One star deducted for the previously mentioned extremely steep driveway; I scraped the bottom even with my Seat Ibiza. Otherwise, really beautiful—the parking area was full of flowers in every color and was clean.

Very lovely place with a wonderful view. I did not understand the 2.80 m height restriction… My car is 2.95 m, and I cannot see any barrier either. Internet is very poor at the site.

We stayed for two nights, very quiet and without problems. The locals are very friendly and the sunset is magnificent. BUT we got stuck climbing up in our 6 m Ford Transit because the slope is very slippery, even on foot, and steep. We were lucky that someone with a Jeep was parked there and helped us get up. No problem on the way down.

Good space for seeing the fort. I am not sure about the comment that one or two campers would block the car park; there is enough space as long as you park sensibly.
