2 Rue de Schwandorf, 33500, Libourne
Been here?
CAMPING-CAR PARK site near leisure center and lake with small, tight pitches. 6-amp power available. Free bus to town (€5 lifetime network access, excluding Sundays). Difficult maneuvering for vans over 7m when full. Barrier frequently broken, allowing inappropriate parking. Saint-Émilion 7km away.

Disappointing. The location is beautiful, but the barrier does not work, so cars and other vehicles are also parked there. In this case it was fine for spending an afternoon swimming.
We regularly stay at paid Parknights areas, but this one is really not great. It feels like being in a travelers' camp, with small pitches all lined up. They could do much better for the price!
We spent one night in May of this year. Very calm and nice. Especially the restaurant at the lake and the atmosphere around it were gorgeous. We visited the center of Libourne with the bikes as well.
Very well-located Camping-Car Park area, right near a leisure center and not far from the town. Very quiet place with all services.
We arrived and the terminal where you have to buy the card to enter was out of service because of internet connection problems. There was space, several motorhomes were parked and it looked good, but it was no use to us.
Well-located area around a lake for walking or visiting Calicéo nearby. Adequate pitches, but maneuvering may be a little difficult for motorhomes over 7 meters if the area is full. The 220V, 6-amp connection is a little limited. Waste containers nearby. Overall, it is fine and we will return.
An 8-meter pitch on paving stones, parked in line; maneuvering is restricted when the area is full. A bus area at the roundabout offers free, convenient buses to get around everywhere. Be careful not to use the stop directly in front, as it is not served. In summer, the beach is just behind for swimming.
Good parking area for spending the night.
Never stayed; it has been taken over by travelers, so we moved on.
Good place.
Adequate pitch, but slightly sloped. Far from the city center, although there is a free bus. Unfortunately, we came on a Sunday and there is no bus on Sundays.
It is a mystery why a site that has been used for about eight years is now supposed to be inspected again by an administrator. The site is quiet at night and has everything you need. For the bus to the city center, do not use the stop in front of the entrance, as it is served very rarely; use the one at the roundabout in front of the grill house. By the way, public transport in Libourne is free.
Nice place, but at this price you are not even allowed to sit outside. Free electricity, drinking water and gray-water disposal are available. You need a card; otherwise you cannot enter. We still had one from a few years ago, and it even still had money on it—a surprise. Buffalo Grill steakhouse is next door. Free bus to the city if you have a card. I give it one star because camping behavior is not allowed.
Good position beside lake with pleasant restaurant & lovely walks. Car park on one side, school on the other side. Fairly level spaces nose to tail on brick paving Some tree cover needs weeding & clearing. EHU, water grey & chem. Unfortunately chem waste used by people not on the site as it's not controlled via card. Gate entry by code only as card not working on entry pad for us & others 2day.
Clean site, on-site check-in possible, costs €20 for 24 hours.
Quiet place close to the beach. Plenty for children to enjoy and a restaurant.
Shaded area ideally located for many outdoor activities, close to the aquatic center. A minor drawback is the taste of the drinking water and the vegetation between the pitches, which has disappeared.
Basic and poorly maintained area. Its advantage is that it is next to the lake. We spent a quiet night.
Well-located pitch near the lake, quiet. However, many spaces are empty because of the 24-hour system; that is the disadvantage, as you have to wait.
Simple little motorhome site, but it offers everything you need. We were here as a family for four nights in total. The lake is a dream, for swimming and cycling, with a large playground and food options. We will come back!
You need a member card to get in and to buy the card on site or register on their app you need a western European phone number to receive a SMS. We arrived late after driving several hours and couldn't get in because of that. Luckily there is a Ibis Budget right next door, but it was still a letdown.
Excellent, with everything needed for a good stay, as usual for Camping-Car Park. Free transport to the city center. Great beach next to the park.
Well-located area for passing through this region, but difficult to park when few spaces remain and some 7-meter vehicles with trailers have spread out considerably. Needs mowing.
Everything perfect and working. Better to reserve because it fills up quickly. Beautiful artificial beach nearby. The bus is taken 200 meters away; line 2 is free, like all buses in this city.
Area for a stopover; everything was dirty and left abandoned. Expensive for the services, if you can call them that.
At the moment only eight spaces are usable. The rest are under water. Outside the motorhome area there are some occupied campers that look ready for the scrapyard. It is quite a long walk to Libourne center. The adjacent lake must be very attractive when the weather is better.
Simple area, adequate pitches, but difficult to drive around for vehicles over 7 meters. Located next to a lake, ideal for walking. Barrier broken, but opening by phone worked without problems.
The location was good. Gave 3 because said there are public toilets near by. The toilets have been locked up and don’t seem to have been used for ages. The other reason was the pay system. The screen has yellowed so badly from the sun that I could not read the instructions and the spoken instructions were so quiet that I could not hear them. In the end it took 6 goes before my card was accepted.
Simple but practical Camping-Car Park area if you want to visit Libourne. The bus stops right outside and is free with the Camping-Car Park card.
Complicated card system; entry was only possible through a phone call with a helper who spoke French. We stood at the barrier for 20 minutes and were about to give up, but there were already people waiting behind us. The bends are narrow and difficult for 7-meter vehicles; large vehicles can barely get through. Not very quiet at night and brightly lit. Disposal facilities are also poorly designed.
Fine for an overnight stay.
Good aire next to a lake with a café, walking and cycling routes, and a restaurant nearby. All services were working, and the site was clean and well maintained. Thanks to Camping-Car Park and Libourne; we would use it again.
Quiet at night, but the parking area is not very large for turning around.
We spent one night. We chose an area with electricity to recharge the batteries, but when we arrived at 7 p.m., despite having reserved, it was the last space and no electrical outlet was available. The pitch was muddy too. Otherwise, it was quiet.
Good area. Quiet for sleeping. There is a restaurant and café next door, and a beautiful long walk beside the lake.
Excellent clean site next to a lake, buffalo grill restaurant nearby. To enter, we had difficulty understanding how to get a card from the machine and to top up with credit, as we had not used this type of parking area before, but another van owner helped us out. The price on line included another payment, which proved to be not required, so be careful. Otherwise, recommend.
