Historical cannon site, narrow access

Very nice, between visiting the bunker and camping overnight. We arrived via a small road of about 2.5 km at the first, very flat area. From there you can see the second area, accessible via a 300-meter track. In my opinion, the lower area is very flat, as we slept there peacefully. And of course there is a beautiful view of the strait. The upper area is more suitable for 4x4s.

A super spot! We drove a little farther up to the second cannon. Great view, and we were well protected from the strong wind between the forest and the cannon. The final ascent is only recommended for panel vans or 4x4s; it is almost impossible for vehicles with an overhang. Motorhomes are better off staying by the lower cannon.

Quiet night with cool sightseeing. Nice view on the Dardanelles and the cannons are cool. A bit of trash. I recommend to park your car at the top cannon for a quieter experience.

Very quiet night at this historic site dating from 1936. We stopped at the first site, as the second was inaccessible to our 7-meter motorhome. Very flat concrete surface. A rubbish container is available, but unfortunately not everyone uses it. A stray cat lives here and can be fed.

Super beautiful and quiet place. Despite the wind, we had a pleasant night. We love historic places like this where there is also something to explore. It is a shame that the site is no longer maintained.

We spend one qiute night here. No one passed by, you could here only the wild animals. it is beatiful, you can also have a little hike here. The road is good but quite narrow. Unfortunately for us the weather was very windy and it is an open area here, so have that in mind in bad weather.

Quiet night. At 11 p.m. the police came and said it was not safe. When we said we were staying only one night, it was suddenly fine. Several families during the day. We were alone after sunset.

Beautiful view, and you can also look inside the cannons. Very interesting.

Great spot. The children are happy to visit the cannons; another one is higher up, a four-minute walk away. There is a waste container, the ground is flat and paved—perfect for a night in nature with a beautiful view of the strait.

Had a quiet night here. The police came by and said it was okay to sleep here.

Very quiet; we spent two good nights. A good spot for visiting Çanakkale the next day. 20 minutes by car. The cannons are impressive.

Really nice spot next to the canons overlooking the straits. Busy with people coming to visit the canons during the day but everyone was very friendly.
