Rocky cycling base, early noise

This site is really not great. The facilities are awful, there is no shade, and nothing has changed since Camping-Car Park acquired it. It is okay for filling up with water and spending one night.✦Translating

As for the site, it is quiet and inexpensive, and for us it was a starting point for cycling Mont Ventoux. Sparse but with the essentials. Selective recycling is possible in the municipal bins on the access road, around the corner by the cemetery wall, about 100 meters away.✦Translating

We took the pitch against the low wall and hedge, which was untrimmed and flowering. We had bees and mosquitoes all evening. The wooden dividers between the pitches were on the ground with nails sticking out. And finally, the best part: we were woken early in the morning at 7 a.m. by municipal maintenance staff on the other side of the hedge, with garbage bins next to the cemetery. In Sault, follow P3. A gravelly site beside the road or next to a noisy municipal maintenance center from 6 a.m. It is not enclosed, but there are cameras at the barrier and very little shade. The worst site I know; many motorhomes simply drive on.✦Translating

Yes, it’s rocky and not very beautiful but the pitches are pretty level and services are included in the affordable fee (we’ve stayed at more expensive places with no services). For us it served its purpose as a starting point to cycle Mont Ventoux. Not a place to relax in for a few days but it’s fine. Would add more stars if there was a fence, but we felt safe enough.

The ground resembles the yard of a construction company. We have visited Sault several times in recent years; back then the site was free. Positively, there is now electricity and a new service station, which was previously defective. The pitch price of €12.32 is too high. Since we like the town of Sault very much, we still come here.✦Translating

For us, it was difficult to find the entrance; you have to follow the P3 sign, located behind the cemetery. It is true that the ground is not great, but I find the price reasonable because we have passed through sites in the region with no services that charged €10 just for parking.✦Translating

A well-located, quiet site, but avoid it because it looks like a depot, not a campsite. The electrical hookup points are new, but that is all. Gravel and asphalt have been dumped in a haphazard way. No fence or camera. Not secure at all, and crossed by local residents.✦Translating

We have the impression that the only work carried out was adding a barrier to charge for the site. We used it previously and it has remained as it was, especially the badly damaged ground! Too bad, because the site is well located, particularly as a starting point for cycling Mont Ventoux, and this is bad publicity for the Camping-Car Park network, which we like.✦Translating

This has only been called a Camping-Car Park site since June 2025. No improvements have been made apart from the barrier for payment. Bins on one side, a recycling center on the other, concrete from old buildings, holes, and the water and toilet point does not work. We had to use drinking water to rinse the cassettes. A huge disappointment. A lack of respect for motorhome travelers.✦Translating

One star for the quiet and the free services. Otherwise, I feel that Camping-Car Park wanted to charge motorhome travelers first and create a parking site later. An undeveloped area resembling a vacant lot, with no electrical hookups. In addition, I could not make the payment at the payment terminal.

Not a nice site, and limited to 24 hours. You have to be a Camping-Car-Park member. We drove on.

We immediately turned around. It used to be free, but now Camping-Car Park has arrived! A disgrace—how far will they go? It is the same in Bédouin. We stayed at the municipal campsite in St Christol sur Albion, with all amenities, for €8 for a converted van and two adults. Thanks to the municipality.

We stopped only to empty the gray and black water. Work is underway to turn this free site into a paid Camping-Car Park site. What a shame.

Barrier not working so it is free to stay. Not a pleasant area to stay so we decided to go to the campsite. When we arrived another motorhome turned up just to dispose of grey water/chemical toilet. No other motorhomes and not surprised as awful area.

The site is degraded or unfinished. At this price, that is unacceptable. The ground is rocky, there are holes, and there is no electricity. I do not understand this type of site; it is bad for the municipality and also for the Camping-Car Park brand.

We spent the night and the barrier was not working, so payment was free. That is fine.
