Lough Key Caravan & Camping Park

Very quiet beautiful spot lovely walks and things to do in Lough key itself. Kitchen facilities great and showers very warm but €2 extra for 5 mins use on top of €40 for parking up

Arrived at the gate on a Friday late afternoon, I couldn't get in; a person on the entrance answering machine told me that an online reservation is mandatory.✦Translating

We stayed at pitch 2,site suitable for a long rig plus car. Awning space available. Most pitches are among the trees and well spaced out. Grey waste disposal at the pitch. Black disposal at the main campsite reception area (beside showers) Great amenities (free tea & coffee in the campers kitchen; games room; picnic tables with BBQ racks; playground onsite) Very helpful & friendly staff

Disappointed by this campsite, which closes from Monday to Thursday. Open only for the weekend. We won't be coming back. Our stop at the river port of Boyle, 7 km away, is peaceful, with toilets and a water point on the quay.✦Translating

Beautiful site, pitches in the forest. Toilets and showers were very clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Lots of walks around the lake and forest.

Very pleasant campsite in a beautiful, picturesque setting. Even pitches 52 and 53 are pleasant. Close to a lake and forests offering many activities. Sanitary facilities are adequate. There is no communal grey-water disposal; it is done at each pitch with a connection hose, which we did not have!✦Translating

We stayed here 2 nights as we had family camping here too. €35 included electricity. laundry is now €2, shower was fine. The pitches are a little narrow and not particularly level. Grey water disposal at your pitch, which was handy. kitchen facilities include a microwave, 2 hobs, electric kettles, complimentary tea, milk, sugar and fridges and freezers to store food if needed.
