A very beautiful site; the Wi-Fi was rather unstable. The site has everything you need, arrivals were possible until evening and everyone still found a place. The staff were very friendly.Translating
Clean campsite! Everything is available for a good price. And a beautiful view!Translating
Great site with everything you need. Hiking trails, fishing spots, a supermarket and a café—which you should definitely visit—are all within walking distance. Bad reviews about arriving late are unjustified. The site is very popular; all spaces are taken by noon. Many people leave early, so spaces become available in the morning. Showers are expensive, and the toilet closing period is outdated.Translating
We arrived before 2 p.m. and the campsite was full. Since the access road is very narrow and the sign with the information is only right before the site, I suggested that the sign should be placed at the earlier turnoff. Unfortunately, the response was unfriendly. So, in fact, I cannot give it any stars.Translating
Very beautiful and quiet site. There is even a bakery bread-roll service, somewhat more expensive but delicious. Everything is available and clean. If something was not clean, it was because of the previous user; I cannot understand the earlier comments about poor cleanliness. Very kind and friendly staff. Electricity at 125 NOK per night is also quite expensive. Always fully occupied from 4 p.m.Translating
Beautiful campsite overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. We paid 360 NOK for our 7-metre motorhome without electricity. Showers cost extra. Washing machine 60 NOK, dryer 40 NOK—we did not use them, so I don't know their condition. Ideal starting point for the Dronningstien hike; the shuttle picks you up directly at the campsite and the route ends near the campsite.Translating
Very beautiful site on an orchard meadow. Clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Beautiful view over the fjord.Translating
Excellent campsite, narrow road to get there. What is most annoying is the high shower price of 40 NOK. A good price for passers-by, but not for guests staying here. It is just an ordinary simple shower... The pitches are not level either. Even with levelling blocks it is difficult to stand level.Translating
Very beautiful site with a great view—as long as you are parked at the front. Some areas are uneven, but manageable. Sufficient sanitary facilities, though cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Electricity is very expensive at 125 kroner, as are the showers. Payment via QR code and then by credit card. €3.50 for hot water—how long it lasts, I have no idea—is not posted anywhere, nor are the costs.Translating
Nice people at reception, but the unobstructed view from the gravel pitches has disappeared because of the wooden cabins. If you already pay 570 NOK, I expect free showers, not toilets that are also closed from 13:00 to 15:00 for cleaning.Translating
Quiet and beautifully scenic camping spot with clean facilities. There’s a camp kitchen with electric stovetops, sinks, and a fridge, plus a games room for rainy days. The only drawbacks are that some pitches in the front row are uneven (although the staff can provide wood blocks to level your vehicle, or you can park elsewhere) and the showers are quite expensive at 40 NOK pp.
Everything was fine for me. Friendly reception, clean, warm shower, sufficient space. Gladly again.Translating
Very beautiful location, but very crowded. Mainly grassy pitches on a slope; it was very wet and muddy for us. Sanitary facilities are okay, but dirty because of the wet weather. Only three women's showers for the large campsite, not particularly nice, with a lot of mould on the walls. Ventilation in the men's toilet inadequate. Access is rather narrow for a larger camper. The value for money did not work for us.Translating
Less friendly contact by email beforehand. Too little character, more like mass processing. No information about anything was provided when paying. The grass areas were barely drivable in the rain. We were lucky to arrive early and get one of the gravel pitches. €12 per night for electricity and €4 per person for showers—completely excessive. €31 per night without extras is acceptable. The surrounding area is great!Translating
Very good for families with children. There is a small playground, a nice garden, showers, and toilets. Very warm welcome. Excellent view.Translating
The campsite is idyllically situated in an orchard beside a branch of the Hardangerfjord. Beautiful view of the valley and along the fjord. Warm welcome at reception, and the price of 325 NOK without electricity is reasonable. We were free to choose our pitch. The site seems very popular, as it was almost full an hour after our arrival. Waste disposal and water services are included. Showers and electricity cost extra.Translating
Beautiful view, wonderful area, and very peaceful. Some pitches were quite steep, showers cost extra, and the sanitary facilities are okay but somewhat outdated.Translating
Fabulous view. Toilets and showers were clean with good hot water (40 NOK). Staff were very helpful. The ground is a little uneven in places, so arrive early to get a flatter spot.Translating
Great view of the fjord. Clean sanitary facilities. Showers cost 40 NOK, paid via a QR code in the shower.Translating
Great campsite, great view, clean showers and toilets. We had a wonderful night and can highly recommend it. We could also do laundry for a small fee.Translating
The campsite has a great location. The small cabin is very cozy, but the sanitary facilities are quite outdated. Showers have cost 40 NOK since today. That is really too much. A covered dining area near the cooking facilities would be desirable.Translating
Excellent campsite with a fantastic view. The sanitary facilities were clean and more than adequate. The price without electricity was 325 NOK for a campervan with two people. There was more than enough space for us at 7 p.m. The staff were correct, but not overly friendly.
Campsite with potential; too few sanitary facilities for the number of guests, and the Wi-Fi is very weak. The shower cost NOK 20 yesterday and NOK 40 today! The reason is that you are allowed to shower longer. Electricity is expensive too. But the view is beautiful if you look over the cabins, there are marked walks from the campsite, and a supermarket is within walking distance.
Stayed for a night. Small campervan (under 6 meters), 2 adults and 2 shower billets were 340 nok. The place is cute, the view is great, there's a small shop at the reception as well. The toilets and showers were clean. The ground is not flat at all places as the camping is on a hill, but you can get wood planks to balance your car if needed. Overall, I recommend it, and I would def come back!
Very nice site with a wonderful view. It is best to use leveling ramps; then the slight slope is no problem. You can also drive a motorhome up the slightly narrow road without difficulty. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view of the fjord. Very hot shower, but four minutes is short. Waste disposal and water filling are fine. Peaceful surroundings.
The site is so-so; they fill it up as much as possible. The view is breathtaking. The wash house and so on are okay. The rip-off price for electricity is outrageous: 125 kroner. We did not need it. From 5–6 p.m. it becomes full.
Fantastic campsite among fruit trees and orchards. Friendly service and nice pitches. Nice toilets and showers. Definitely worth a visit!
Campsite in an orchard, magnificent view, very friendly owner! Sanitary facilities are very good, although four minutes is a little short for the shower. Go there without hesitation!
Great campsite. I stayed two nights with my panel van because the view was simply so beautiful. I was there in the low season and was almost alone. Plenty of toilets, three showers, and three sinks for hand washing. Otherwise, everything is available: fresh water, gray water disposal, and even toilet disposal. The owner is also a really nice guy. I had a great time.
Dreamlike setting! We stayed here for one night and spontaneously checked in at 8:30 p.m. There was enough space at that time. Everything you need is available. The breathtaking view and the surrounding apple orchards were especially positive for us. However, because the site is on a slope, we stood somewhat unevenly. Fine for one night.
Dreamlike location and view. The sanitary facilities were clean and okay, but the motion sensor switches off in the evening and you have to find your way out of the shower somehow. One coin gives four minutes (10 NOK). The difficult part is the approach via the narrow, winding road. The washing machine costs three coins and was fine. The playground is poor and very badly located. The staff were friendly at check-in, but the woman the next day was very grumpy and unfriendly.
Beautiful site with a great view. In September we had no problem finding a free pitch. The sanitary facilities were very clean; showers require coins and last four minutes.
Very friendly welcome. The site is right in the apple orchards on a slope, with excellent Wi-Fi and top-notch sanitary facilities. Grandiose view of the fjord. The road is easily passable even with a 10-meter motorhome. No problem at all; apple tractors only rarely come the other way.
Great location, clean sanitary facilities. 280 NOK for two people with a car. Fast Wi-Fi.
Superb location! The access road is rather narrow.
Beautiful campsite situated a little higher up; the road there is somewhat narrow. But the site is worth it: everything is very clean and really beautiful. The view in the evening and morning was wonderful.
Nice site in the orchards and a good starting point for the Dronningstien hike. However, the sanitary facilities are showing their age and only moderately clean in the evening. There is only one washing machine and one dryer for the entire site, resulting in long queues and making it impossible to do laundry.
