23 Lauder Road, EH9 2JG, Edinburgh

Paid daytime parking in a very quiet residential area, suitable for visiting Edinburgh and about a 30-minute walk from the castle. A new 4-hour limit applies between 8:30am and 5:30pm, and prices have increased. It remains useful during holidays and in the evening.

There now is a new time limit of 4 hours during the day (8.30am - 5.30pm), prices have gone up as well. Still a good option on holidays and in the evening, though.
Plenty of parking along the road. A very quiet and reassuring residential area. I would not want to stay overnight here, but it is great for visiting the city. We paid £6 for 5 hours. Unfortunately, the parking meter accepts cash only. I quickly installed the app and paid with it.
Parking in a very quiet residential area. One of the few where you can stay for a maximum of 9 hours. Very cheap compared with others in the area. A 25-minute walk to the center, with a pleasant stroll through beautiful houses and The Meadows park.
