A beautiful site directly beside the forest on a quiet road. Locals also use it as their main dog-walking route, unfortunately often leaving dog mess behind. Direct access to wonderful cycling and hiking trails into the forest. Water and waste facilities are on site; rubbish disposal is about a 10-minute walk away. Payment can be made by QR code on site.
Registration via QR code, €10. No services, but there is a dog park next door covered in dog mess. Air traffic from 8 a.m.; quiet at night.
Fantastic place, spacious, beautiful, quiet, and with facilities. You can also walk straight to the harbor and town center. The only downside is dog mess everywhere, absolutely everywhere! It is mainly from local residents who come in large numbers to walk their dogs and unfortunately forget to clean it up. Such a shame!
Beautiful location, but unfortunately this dog-walking area does not deserve to be called a motorhome site. In Huizen, civilization has apparently not yet reached the point where dog owners clean up after their dogs. A real disappointment.
Quiet parking area next to a park. Perfect for walking the dog. Good value for money.
Perfect motorhome site. Lovely walking in the area. No facilities as described. Great compliment to the municipality for such a site at €10.
No facilities. Close to entertainment, water, and shops or a shopping center.
Inexpensive, basic pitch, with the Gooimeer visible on the horizon. Lots of nature and a quiet night. Lidl nearby. The access road is winding and narrow through a residential and industrial area. Many dogs and good walking opportunities. Several sports facilities nearby. €10 via QR code and credit card.
Basically a good place. Water within walking distance and a large meadow next door. Relatively cheap at €10. Payment via QR code and app was easy. Unfortunately, there is no fresh water.
Stayed for two nights. Great place with a disposal point, trash bins, and the possibility of getting water, which is currently free. €10 per night, payable via QR code. Slept peacefully. Lots of walking and cycling opportunities nearby.
Great place: scan the QR code at the pitch, enter your details, pay €10 by credit card, and you're done. We found it very quiet here over Pentecost. Many thanks to the municipality for providing the pitch. Cassette and gray-water disposal are included.
Great basic pitch. Quiet even on long weekends. Perfect for cycling and dog owners. The park and forest are right next door. A short walk to the marina. I recommend the fish shop at the harbor, with excellent fresh sushi and traditional fried fish. Parking farther ahead toward the park is recommended. The beach is unfortunately farther away.
Great place for cycling. Not expensive, and the necessary facilities are available. If only there were more places like this. Thank you! Frans and Marita.
As a motorhome site for one or two nights, excellent! I recommend the spaces farther from the road, as they are a little quieter and farther from the parking area. Almost everything you need is there. There is no electricity, but that is not important to us because we have solar panels. It may be a little tight for large motorhomes.
Good for a spontaneous short overnight stay, but nothing more. Very unsettled because of the huge number of dogs, the nearby industrial operation, and the flight path. If it had not been so late, we would have driven on.
What a lovely place; we were lucky that one had just become available. Easy payment by scanning the QR code. The water at the toilet emptying point was turned on, so we were able to use it. You can order water through the On/Off app. The night was wonderfully quiet, waking to birdsong. Beautiful surroundings for walking, with a large forest or the pier at the marina.
What a disgrace. As a municipality, you should be ashamed. It is not maintained, and there is dog mess everywhere. Daring to charge €10 for this—shame on you. Does anyone at the municipality ever consider how much money motorhome travelers spend with local businesses? The location is fine.
Well-located site; apart from electricity, it has everything a camper needs. Great for walking the dog. We were here on August 3, 2024.
Good site, convenient for shopping, with Lidl nearby, and for visiting the harbor. However, it feels as though we are disturbing people where the motorhomes are parked. Many dog walkers pass in front or let their dogs pee or defecate there without even cleaning it up, especially at the last three spaces.
Quiet pitch for one night. A Lidl supermarket is only a few minutes away on foot. Plenty of places for dogs to exercise all around. However, I find €10 per night somewhat excessive. Therefore only four stars.
Not really our kind of motorhome spot, just outside a residential area and within walking distance of the Gooimeer. You park in a large lot without a particularly attractive view. We did not stay overnight. Shops are within walking distance. We arrived with our motorhome at 8:30 and it fit in the space. The pitches are paved.
