Palea Ethniki Odos Athinon Korinthou, 201 00, Loutraki Agii
Been here?
Large free parking areas on both sides of the road, opposite cafés and souvenir shops and about 200m from the Corinth Canal bridge. The main road makes the area very noisy. Recent reports describe people damaging or breaking into vehicles and pressuring visitors to buy replacement windscreen wipers. Do not leave the vehicle unattended.

The canal is very easy to reach from here. WARNING!!! Criminals are operating in the area, breaking your windshield wipers so they can sell you new ones. Cheap junk for a lot of money. Unfortunately, I was targeted: my wiper was broken, and I chased the bastard away. The sad thing is that people sit in the café and watch them tamper with the cars.
We only parked to admire the canal for a while. No problem and no suspicious people. Parking is possible on both sides of the road.
Very noisy parking area beside a busy road; I do not feel safe here either. It is only good for looking at the bridge for a while.
(September 2025) Perfect for a short stop at the Corinth Canal bridge.
Parking right near the canal and opposite a shop with a café. We found the place suspicious as soon as we arrived. Be careful: shady people loiter in front, closely inspecting every camper, and also across the road. Some persistently try to sell windshield wipers, whether yours are new or not. We at least kept our Doberman in the camper, which was a good thing.
There were not many people in the parking area that day, but after reading the latest comments we did not want to take any risks and went to the canal one at a time. The parking area is 200 meters from the bridge for viewing the canal.
Today our van was broken into, along with passenger cars :( while we were visiting the canal. Be careful and do not leave anything valuable in sight. THIS CONCERNS THE PARKING AREA ON THE OTHER SIDE BEHIND THE RESTAURANT.
Large parking areas for visiting the canal, with shops nearby. Lots of tourists coming and going, but I saw no beggars and never felt unsafe.
Not beautiful, but free and convenient for briefly visiting the Corinth Canal. Based on the reviews, someone always stayed with the motorhome.
I am surprised by the comments, because I was here in 2023 and again in 2025, and everything looked fine when entering the parking area. Just an ordinary parking lot. We left the vehicle, went to see the canal, and that was it. There was nothing or nobody suspicious when we arrived, either then or now. At this point I have mixed feelings—we had no problems.
I have rarely felt so unsafe. Children jump out at you from every corner to beg. Leaving the car unattended was not an option.
We had no problems, but we did not stay long. We did not feel safe leaving our vehicle unattended.
A good stop to see the canal but my husband and I had to take turns as there are beggars around.
Be careful when parking. An audacious salesman damages your windshield wipers and then tries to sell you new ones.
Yes, the bridge and the Corinth Canal are definitely worth seeing. Whether you go bungee jumping is up to you. You can park here, but staying overnight is out of the question for us: far too busy and much too noisy.
Fine for seeing the bridge, which is right next to it, but I would not leave my van unattended there for long.
Quick stop for the bridge—but nothing more.
Good place to visit the bridge and the canal. Huge souvenir shop right next door.
Just good enough to visit the bridge. The crowds are awful.
We stopped here only for a short time to visit the canal and to do shopping at the supermarket. When we came back somebody broke into our camper. So when you park here, park it in a visible spot, especially the side door! We parked in a corner and the side door was not visible for people passing by, they broke the window to open in the side sliding door of our camper.
Fine for a short stop to see the canal, but nothing more. There was a lot of begging and people watching what we were doing. I would not stay overnight here.
This is a convenient parking area for seeing the canal, but we did not feel safe staying overnight, and it may not even be permitted. Fine for parking near the start of the canal at Isthmia.
