This is a spacious riverside spot beside the road, suitable for a peaceful picnic or daytime stop. The river has no direct access, the grass is high, and there are no rubbish bins; distant state-road noise is not disturbing. A narrow bridge is passable for a Ford Transit but may be too tight for larger vehicles.

Good place to escape the city heat, quiet, with the sound of the main road in the distance but not bothersome. We stayed for a daytime picnic. The only drawbacks are that there is no access to the river, the grass is tall, and there are no rubbish bins. Still recommended.
