Parking, tolerated overnight stays

You are completely in the wrong place here too; you need to take the area behind the thermal baths. There is almost unlimited space, it is quiet and by the forest. There is a car park, but do not use the short-stay parking spaces directly at the front. Otherwise you can park anywhere, of course without behaving as if you were on a campsite. Drive along Stubbendorffweg to the end, and then you will see what to do. Have a nice stay in Soltau.

Nice parking area, but not suitable for motorhomes; spaces are small and everyone parks diagonally, occupying four spaces. If your motorhome is longer than 6 m, you cannot do otherwise. Great for spending a day at the thermal baths. Nothing else to see nearby.

Ideal parking for one very quiet night on the edge of the forest.

Occupied by territorial people who think they should take up four parking bays because there are only four motorhome spaces. Since the municipality is so rude as not to put out tables and chairs, people bring their own furniture and set it up. Their right! May the fines for people who shamelessly and disrespectfully overexploit the goodwill and tolerance of municipalities and states be hefty.

On Whit Sunday we wanted to visit the thermal baths and take the opportunity to spend the night here, which is tolerated. To our horror, half the parking lot was blocked by vehicles of every size. Some brazenly occupied four parking bays, while others put out tables and chairs as if they were on a campsite. Impossible!!! We quickly drove on. That is not our style.

Great parking area for overnight stays. There is even a sign explicitly stating that staying overnight for one night is permitted. With the thermal baths next door, it is perfect. Regarding the commenter who said these are only car parking bays: of course, you simply park diagonally across the bay.

These are only parking bays for passenger cars. They are not suitable for motorhomes.
