Sheltered gravel, road noise

This spot is just outside or Stabbursnes parc and thus ideal to camp. You need to drive a bit further, to the "sports field" and you'll see that it is actually a parking. You hear the road a bit but not too much. There is enough wind to not be bothered by mosquitoes. Plenty of birds to see

Great spot in nature without any facilities. We spent a quiet night here with another camper. The site is close to the Stabbursnes reserve, where we went on a great hike with birdwatching.✦Translating

I was under the impression i could follow the road up the fjord for a while to get further away from the road noise but it is just 5 meters or so till you reach the big field with more spaces, so you still hear the road. Further than that is forbidden for cars. Still perfectly ok for a stopover but so far one of the most noisy places I stayed in 1.5 months of traveling in scandinavia.

An open area with plenty of space away from the road. We stayed for four very peaceful days, sheltered from the wind. Highly recommended; there are no facilities of any kind, but it is perfect for relaxing and disconnecting.✦Translating

Do not stay in the side lane; take the path toward the fjord. There are large, flat spaces away from the road for a quiet night. However, beware of mosquitoes. No facilities; space for more than 10 motorhomes.✦Translating

Lots of space to keep a good distance from other campers. Completely flat. At a nature reserve, but good for walking the dog. We only stopped here for lunch, but the site is very good for spending the night.✦Translating
