Unnamed Road, Castledonovan
Been here?
A very quiet parking area with no services and plenty of walking nearby. The gravel surface slopes in both directions, making it tricky to get level. A nearby stream can be relatively loud after heavy rain, while the back road has only occasional traffic.

Perfect little spot, tricky to get level, slopes in both directions, but using the grass build up round the edges of the gravel as a ramp, got it down to -1,-1 which is fine if it's in the right direction. Did a litter pick, cigarette butts are litter, people!!!
We stayed here for one night. The stream was relatively loud, but it had also been raining for days beforehand. Otherwise, it was a quiet night. In the morning, local residents passed by on foot taking their children to school and greeted us. Apart from that, only a few cars passed.Translating
A beautiful spot right by a stream, bridge and not very busy back road. Also nice walks around to castledonavan castle and mountains nearby. No problems here!
Extremely peaceful. A beautiful sunset over Donovan Castle and a picnic table beside the water. Idyllic! Away from the tourist routes, but a perfect stop between Cork and the Ring of Beara.Translating
