A free, flat parking area in front of the wooden church of Plopis, with a free public toilet and views of the church. The church can be opened from 10 to 16, with explanations for 5 lei per person, and rubbish bins are available. Access via road 182G at the UNESCO sign is narrow but generally accessible, although another approach from Baia Mare may be overgrown.

Quiet place; if you park parallel in front of the spaces, you won't bother anyone and it's flat. Beautiful views of the church and absolute tranquility. There are trash bins. Peaceful and magical place.
Plopis Church. The photos are indeed of this place. Access via road 182G when you see a UNESCO sign. The road is narrow but very accessible. A lady opens the church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and explains a little in English for 5 lei. There are toilets and trash bins. I asked if I could stay and she said no problem. Quiet night except for some neighbors talking at 3 a.m. (it was Friday).
Inaccessible by motorhome: coming from Baia Mare, the road is overgrown with vegetation. We preferred to turn around.
Beautiful church, unfortunately closed on Mondays. Toilet open and very clean! The parking area on this side has room for about five cars.
The last comment is incorrect. The images correspond to the parking area in front of the church.
Photos 1, 2, and 4 do not match the stated location, but rather the parking area directly at the church. See my comment about that parking area.
