Quiet free area, unreliable water

Several cars parked in the motorhome parking area even though there is a side dedicated to cars. The Qipeo app for refilling drinking water was impossible to use.✦Translating

The photos are out of date, the ‘machine’ has been changed to an app controlled unit. As per a previous contributor, we struggled to connect and gave up when we needed water. Loaded 4€ on to the app in the process :( Used the flushable drain to empty black but could not rinse the cassette. The app is geared to be used with Qipeo sites and is not user-friendly for this single station.

Slept very well. Shop just next door: bakery, butcher-caterer, and a Spar for small groceries. There is also a laundromat, which I recommend.✦Translating

The service machine with this Qipeo app is a complete nuisance. You have to install the app and create an account, enter your credit card, only to discover that the app cannot even find the machine’s location, and you cannot select anything manually either. We arrived at night but there was still space. Nice place on the edge of a quiet, tree-lined housing development. All services available on site: fresh, grey, and black water, plus waste sorting. Public toilet two minutes away near the boules court.✦Translating

We spent the night of April 23–24, 2026. Little traffic. Pleasant parking area because it is well located and offers free services, except for water. The central spaces, which seem reserved for large motorhomes, are quite steep, but the smaller ones on the side are fine with leveling blocks. The cars parked in the spaces reserved for motorhomes belong to the employees of the medical practice. Apparently we are a nuisance, but the town hall refuses to take a clear position. Pleasant, quiet parking place, even at night, next to a residential area that offers the possibility of walking dogs safely and letting children enjoy the park just a few steps away. Waste disposal and water refill are available for €4. Access is via a QR code that asks for the national language at the start. Easy—you just need to take your time.✦Translating

A simple pitch with fresh-water and waste-disposal facilities. Separate general-waste and glass recycling are available on site. The sea is within a short walk, 750–1,100 meters away. We found it very pleasant here.

We were here to cycle to Saint-Brieuc by e-bike, 14 km there and back. What a busy city, with beggars. We cycled back and left immediately; far too much noise, and the two beaches were disappointing too. Compared with the surrounding area elsewhere, this is the least pleasant neighborhood. We only used the facilities to empty the toilet cassette.

We did not spend the night, just emptied the wastewater. No water for filling; an app must be scanned to pay for water.

We stopped for one night and had a pleasant, quiet night. The spaces are large enough for our 7 m motorhome and trailer, and we fit easily. The only drawback is cars parking in the motorhome spaces to visit the medical office next door. Thanks to the municipality.

Lovely quiet place as it is Sunday, and easy to access even for large motorhomes! During the week it must be a little noisy during the day because construction work is underway, and some motorists park in the spaces reserved for motorhomes. Otherwise, it is great! Only one shaded space.

On a charming little square, 10 minutes’ walk from the beach, with a magnificent view... The only drawback is the lack of shops, but for a stopover it is perfect.

Very good for me

Thanks to the municipality for making this site near the shops free. But the new Qipeo terminal is ridiculously complicated. The QR code does not open the app. This is the second time I have encountered this system, which I find useless! There are much more convenient payment methods. I could not get water. Needs improvement. I visited the website and there was no information either. Disappointing.

Very well-located area with all shops nearby. If you find a black Zoe parked in the last available motorhome space, you can ask the medical secretary at the medical office at the end of the parking lot, who owns the car, to move it so you can park. Water is available from a pay-per-use terminal.

I do not understand people who lower the ratings of these areas because the town hall shut off the water for motorhome users who took advantage of the free supply to wash their vehicles. Long live paid terminals and grumpy people at campsites. Regards.

Good for emptying. The tap is locked, so there is no more water because people used the free water to wash their motorhomes.

Easy-access parking, 500 metres from the beach. Small shops nearby and a bus 300 metres away to Saint-Brieuc. Few spaces, currently permanently occupied by two motorhome users who live in the houses next door. At this time of year they could park at home. Thanks to the municipality for offering us this free parking for now. Water is paid via QR code.
