1 Rue Pierre Trebucien, 14400, Bayeux
Been here?
Official motorhome parking area near Bayeux city centre, 10–20 minutes on foot. Herringbone-style angled pitches are narrow and tight; vehicles over 7m struggle to manoeuvre and occupy inadequate spaces. Cost around €14–28 per day. Electricity and water/waste services included. Recently reopened.

Beautiful parking area, with no faults except that it is a little narrow. With our 7.39-meter vehicle, we fit in the spaces precisely. Very clean, with fully functional water and waste facilities. Very close to the center, about ten minutes away.
We parked for less than 24 hours. I don't know why, but we had to pay €28.80.
Nice quiet place. In walking distance to the city centre. Good value for the money when spending 1-2 days at Bayeux
Very convenient with walking distance to the center. 5A electricity included, and quiet during night. Pitches are wide enough but short, 7m or less is recommended, had to use two pitches for our 9m..
Quiet parking area, about a 20-minute walk from Bayeux center. However, the layout is impractical: angled spaces are very difficult for motorhomes over 7 meters (7.39 meters for us), with complicated maneuvers between the cycle path, road, and sidewalk. It is impossible to return to the service area once parked without leaving and driving around again. Too bad.
Excellent motorhome area, newly paved, with water and waste facilities and electricity. The maximum length is 7.50 meters; longer vehicles are not practical because they obstruct the exit route.
They have reopened it. Convenient, practically in the center, with water filling and waste disposal included. We paid €14 for one day and one night.
A waste-disposal area with a shelter over the dumping point. It reeks of kickbacks. You can tell this area was designed by people who have never used a motorhome, it is so badly designed. Shameful.
The municipality deliberately allowed all four free service stations in the town to deteriorate so it could charge tourists nearly €15 per day for a filthy angled parking area!
It is an angled parking area. Be careful, it is a little tight with a seven-meter motorhome; we overhang slightly, but it works for others when leaving. Anything over seven meters should avoid it. Remember to press the electricity terminal several times if you are staying for several days.
Narrow pitches; a medium-sized vehicle obstructs the roadway. It is impossible to put down the stabilizing legs because of a sidewalk. Cars also enter the area, and the electricity does not always work.
The construction work has been completed and the parking area is open again.
Municipal site refurbished since June 1, 2026.
May 10, 2026. Unfortunately, it is still closed due to construction work.
It is currently closed for construction; you have to go to the other motorhome parking area.
Closed with "no entry" barriers at the moment.
Good for passing through, thanks to the municipality.
Ideal parking area for visiting the city, as long as your vehicle is not too long.
Great, and accessible for free because the parking meter refuses to cooperate. I would have had no difficulty paying for tonight's parking. Thanks to the municipality for looking after motorhome travelers.
Good spot to visit the town, Cathedral, Normandy Museum, etc. Free at night. Machine didn't work to make daytime payment but no hassle. Only service was the waste bins. They were fairly full but we didn't need them. Plenty room to park. Thanks to the Municipality for providing this place.
September 14, 2025. Parked to visit the city, and then spent the night as well. It was even free because the machine was broken. There were 14 motorhomes in total. Perfectly fine for one or two nights. Our seven meters fit perfectly in the parking bay. Thank you to the city of Bayeux.
For those who want or need to save money, this place is suitable. It is not really ideal for motorhome travelers because it is very noisy and dirty. We went to the campsite, which was very good.
Free parking during the day. We arrived at 10 a.m. and left at 4 p.m. Excellent for visiting the city. No services.
We had parked in the other motorhome parking area (dusty, dirty, and noisy next to the road) to visit Bayeux, which is truly worth seeing, impressive, and magnificent. On returning, we moved to this area along the cemetery, at the same price while keeping the first ticket. Clean, paved, level, plenty of space, quiet, and very good overnight. Very close to the center.
Free angled parking area 15 minutes' walk from the city center. Easily accessible. Free during the day, but paid at night.
Free during the day and very well located for visiting Bayeux. Thank you to the municipality for this excellent initiative. We had a wonderful day in Bayeux. Great selection of restaurants.
