A paid roadside parking area in the woods at Piglionico, with mountain views and access to several Pania trekking routes. Parking costs €3/24h, payable by card or cash, and there is no water or other service. The road is narrow, mostly asphalted with a final gravel section, and the site is above 1000 meters. Picnic tables are available in some nearby roadside spaces.

Excellent place to spend the night. Quiet—I was the only one—and surrounded by nature. Narrow road, but fine for a van or small camper.
Excellent road, enchanting place and view! We spent our first night in the car and could not have been happier. Toll road (€3/24 hours), card or cash, no change given. Excellent asphalt, with the final section unpaved. Great starting point for many hikes; we went to Pania della Croce via Rifugio Rossi. There is no water. Few cars at night, so it is quiet.
Excellent view, at the start of the trails to Pania. There is no water. Ideal for vans. Cool or cold even in summer; we are above 1,000 meters.
Super quiet and very pleasant; we spent one night here. We drove up in a 6.40-meter panel van without any problem. You can turn around behind the small chapel.
It's a really nice spot, extremely quiet at night, immersed in the woods and an excellent starting point for the Panie trekking. 3 euros for 24 hours in 2023. no services.
