Szent János utca, 1039, Budapest
Been here?
This is free street parking beside a public Danube beach with a lifeguard, public toilets and cold showers. The facilities are free but very basic, and overnight stays are usually quiet. Swimming is officially allowed here, but parking directly along the Danube is prohibited. Finding a space is easier in the evening and more difficult during pleasant daytime weather.

Slept perfectly peacefully here. At most, a car occasionally turned around. In contrast to two roads farther south, where a hotel is currently being renovated, or 900 m farther south, where there is activity day and night, especially in good weather. Farther south there is more likely to be daytime parking because the place is larger. Alternatively, park there during the day and move here at night once the day visitors have left.
