Good stopover, quiet at night, fairly busy during the day. Supermarket nearby.
Convenient parking for visiting the town. Near the historic centre and viewpoint. Don’t miss the fabulous takeaway pizza from Massimo’s “Pizza Shock” on Via della Libertà, several-time pizza champion... A must if you visit Ortona or the surrounding area.
Convenient parking for visiting the town. We spent a quiet night.
Excellent place, free, convenient, close to restaurants and shops. Elevated sea view!
We spent a very quiet night, just steps from the centre and the Aragonese Castle. There are no restrictions on motorhomes, and the local police passed by without saying anything. Recommended!
The car park is now paved. The spaces are insufficient for vehicles longer than 6 metres. We spent a quiet night.
We spent one night in this car park beside the cemetery, close to the town centre for sightseeing. These are not motorhome spaces; you have to park outside the lines. There was some traffic in the evening and morning, but the night was quiet.
Perfect for visiting the town. Very quiet night for an urban environment. You need luck to find two consecutive spaces lengthwise. Cars start arriving around eight, and you must be prepared to leave their space by 8:30 at the latest. The risk is that this rather unique parking area will eventually be banned for motorhomes.
Paved car park for cars, therefore unsuitable for vehicles over 6.5 m; it is difficult to stay within the lines. We found a place at the back near the benches. Good location for visiting the town, with a rubbish bin. We spent a quiet night.
Paved town parking, but I parked on the side because the spaces were occupied by local residents. Well located for one night, 100 m from a Conad supermarket for shopping. And don’t forget to visit the basilica—magnificent.
Arrived this evening at 9 p.m.; the car park was full. It seems that most of the spaces are occupied by people from the neighbouring apartment buildings.
We left the motorhome there for a few hours while walking around the centre. Nice, somewhat small car park; we arrived late and it was already full of cars, so we found a makeshift spot. Still, it was quiet.
Excellent parking for both daytime visits to the town and overnight stays, with a spectacular sea view. The car park is level. Ortona is a beautiful town to visit, with its Aragonese tower. Thanks to the municipality.
Free, clean parking, five minutes’ walk from the centre. Quiet area with several motorhomes staying overnight.
Sea view for vehicles under 6 m. Next to a supermarket.
Excellent stopping place both for visiting the town during the day and for overnight stays. You sleep lulled by the sound of the sea. Level parking.
Very quiet and clean site. Please help keep it that way. Our night was absolutely peaceful. Not suitable for campers over 6 m.
On Thursdays there is a market, so you need to be lucky. Next to the cemetery.
Level, quiet asphalt parking. We spent the night here to break up our journey.
